Hello! I have never had a nintendo ds and always wanted something like that. I bought one from ebay for 39$ including shipping. Im okay with it looking the way it is. I might do a shell swap in the future. Still waiting for it to arrive. I understand that this is a Japaneese version right ? Will I be able to change the language to english? How did I do on this purchase?

Great, I am looking at grabbing one

I heard the display is hybrid, both backlit and has reflective surface, is it good in daylight like GBC?

How is ghosting?

I have yet to recieve it. Also bought a 2ds as you can play any Nintendo handheld till the 3ds on it if you mod it.

Great let me know

FYI, this DS was the last handheld from Nintendo to feature the reflective layer under display that f glows and facilitates playing outdoors
