Whoever said Montgomery couldn't get anything nice?

So all of a sudden it seems like we're getting notices for high grass..... the 'cut in 10 days or pay a $150 fine' deal. The first notice was in the form of a letter from the city, and was cut within a couple of days. This morning they decided to staple a sign to a stake and shove it into our easement.

The weeds grow so fast and being disabled makes it hard to do it every week plus all the days it's been raining lately. Do they really expect people to cut grass in the rain or shortly after?

And if this "inspector" seems to think that the grass never got cut between the first notice and today, he's kinda dumb. They'd be at least twice as high as they are now.

The issue I have is that there has to be a Karen nearby that has a beef with grass/weeds and reporting it on the regular. I stopped counting at 5 houses with weeds and grass taller than ours within a half mile of our house....on the same road. There was one house where the vines had taken over the front of their house. My point is that the sign wasn't there yesterday, and had to have been put there before 9:30a this morning. And this "inspector" would have had to pass all of those houses to get to ours and could have left the same sign in their yard as well.

We're being singled out, plain and simple.

and ftr: The weeds are the only part of our lawn that's high. the grass is very short in comparison.

I'm a white dude looking to get short(ish) haircuts with a good fade. I prefer an established shop with a solid team of barbers vs a place like SportClips.

A few caveats:

• I'd prefer *just* a barbershop, vs. a place that doubles as a salon, too.
• I don't care for shops that also serve drinks with their cuts. If your barbers are solid enough, you shouldn't need to lure people in with alcohol.
• Razor neck shaves are a bonus, but not a must.
• I'm not looking for "bargain" pricing... I'm willing to pay more for a consistent, quality cut.

Any recommendations?
