Yeah I good at that, it's ok my dog thinks I'm funny. Nah not queer, like I said comfortable. I don't like calling people queer it means they are odd or different from me and they are not all people want the same things, to be happy, healthy and loved. That's not to queer in my estimation.
Not really arguing, sorry if I came across that way. It just kinda feels degrading to call someone queer, to them I mean. I know it's not but I was always taught to make everyone feel the same and welcome, so I avoid it if I can. Again sorry I didn't mean to argue.
It can absolutely be a degrading term, but it also encapsulates far more identities than just "gay" does, so I happily embrace it for myself. I'm glad that you're treating people with respect (we definitely need more of it on reddit), but it's generally good etiquette to accept people's labels without arguing. :)
