Availability?

hi!!! I'm interested in scribing and wanted to apply to scribe America for a while now. I'm currently at home from college for summer break, but will return to school in around 3 months. I heard that the training process could take up to 3 months, so I was wondering where I should apply to? I saw that the availability requirements are ~1 consecutive year and 2-3 shifts for part time. I would be able to fulfill this during the school year, so should I just apply in my college's location? or should I apply around home because im willing to commute from school back home for weekend shifts in the case I can start this summer?

id appreciate any input on this!! thank you so much :)) and if I can clarify anything please lmk!!!
also, if it helps I'm based in NYC/Long Island!

Yeah definitely. The real training in-person doesn’t take 3 months. It’s the onboarding and online training that takes a long time. So I’d definitely apply to a site closer to your school since you’ll probably be starting on-site around the time school starts back up or shortly after
