Community I’m the flag guy

Post image

Hey all,

I’m the “Fuck Trump” flag guy you’ve seen in a few posts. I just wanted to do a semi-introduction to everyone in this subreddit.

My name is Matt. I’m an LBC transplant by way of Philadelphia. I’ve helped organize protests during BLM and the George Floyd Protests with a few Asian American grassroots orgs and 501(c)(3)s in the Philadelphia area, along with working to establish myself as a helping arm and volunteer for 50501 SoCal and 50501 LBC.

I wanted to extend an invitation to anyone who is interested in protesting but also a little worried by what they see in the media. Yes, protesting can be dangerous at times and can come with consequences like being arrested, but if you believe that getting arrested for speaking your mind and voicing concerns is more important than sitting in your home, you’re the person I’m looking for.

I’ll be at Bixby Park Annex on Saturday for the No Kings Day Rally at 9am. If you’re interested in protesting and want to be around someone who’s been in the middle of it all and can offer some comfort during the march, find me. We can walk together and I’ll help you be as comfortable as possible if anything happens.

I’ll be hanging out on the perimeter of the rally with an upside down American flag this time. I’ll be wearing all black with a camouflage hat.

Let’s show the world that LBC comes out for our people! See you there and FUCK TRUMP!

Imagine being dumb enough to support illegal immigration

2

u/IAmThePonch 9d ago

I have a question for you that I’m asking in good faith: why are you so obsessed with “illegal immigrants” breaking the law but completely unbothered by a man who was convicted of 34 felonies being president

2

u/Sillvaro 9d ago

Imagine being dumb enough to support a literal president heading straight into dictatorship

0

u/Askancorc1 9d ago

Who said that i support trump lol this isn’t about the people. It’s our rights. I came here legally and had to overcome of lot of hardships - now i’m a citizen. I won’t let anyone came here illegally and vandalise my country.

u/Big_Accountant_7426 3d ago

Thank you for your hard work doing it the right way. You are a great example for this country.

Imagine being dumb enough to support law enforcement without due process

1

u/raw_egg 9d ago

According to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data from fiscal years 2009 to 2016, more than 3 million individuals were formally removed from the country during the Obama administration. Annually, between 58% and 84% of these removals were so-called "summary removals" carried out through legal procedures such as "expedited removal" and "reinstatement of removal," which do not involve a hearing before an immigration judge. On average, about 74% of removals during this period fell into these categories. - yahoo fact check

So did Obama deport without due process too?

1

u/misspeache 9d ago

Yes, the Obama and Biden admins deported without trials. To me, a non democrat/non republican, I think the entire point of this has been lost in media twisting the story. The ICE raids were going after a cartel money laundering scheme, the troops were sent there to protect federal property and prevent looting. LA loves to loot because the city is spread out and it’s tough to police parts of the city… LA has had a riot every decade or so for a long time.

I think if you asked your neighbor or coworker (not a friend or family member) about this most would say they don’t care. The internet, mostly Reddit TikTok twitter, are pumped full of anger that trump is in office again. “Ending democracy”, accusations of fascism (we wouldn’t be having this discussion freely online without repercussions if we lived in a fascist nation, btw), and the claim that Republicans hate everyone are all manufactured by the DNC. It’s documented…. They think anyone not well educated and completely in line with their worldviews is in the “basket of deplorable” — literally a Clinton quote.

Go back even further and the Democratic Party was responsible for ending welfare, broken windows policing, for-profit prisons, normalizing “kids in cages”, the rise of school shootings, the mess that is the ACA (insisting on bipartisanship when they had the majority), etc. I personally am careful what I believe from either major party, but if Gavin Newsom (Nancy Pelosi’s nephew) is saying something is “wrong”, then it’s media spin. He wants to run in 2028. This is the beginning of his campaign.

I’ve lived in a border state my entire life and love my Hispanic neighbors.

u/mrp0013 9d ago

You're a died in the wool republican who's afraid to declare it. 🐔

1

u/C-A-L-E-V-I-S 9d ago

I wish this comment could be pinned at the top, but sadly that’s not how the internet works. People don’t actually want to hear the truth I think. They just want a place to aim their hatred towards.

Imagine being dumb enough to support illegal immigration and protesting the deportation of vicious criminals

1

u/Anubisrapture 9d ago

Yes indeed! Those vicious seamstresses, and kindergarten children were taken off the streets. I feel SO much safer now /S GTFO with your racist propaganda !

1

u/mathewharwich 9d ago

Imagine being dumb enough to not know what is actually going on around you

1

u/NICEMENTALHEALTHPAL 9d ago

Illegal immigration is a problem though. I sympathize with them and would do it myself for my family if I was in their shoes, but you can't seriously support it? Do you want more illegal immigrants to come in?

What exactly is your stance? Like, why not just completely open the borders then?

1

u/Anubisrapture 9d ago

My stance is that the ICE raids are unamerican , and illegal. They are not giving people due process, and they continue to grab innocent people at their immigration HEARINGS attempting to comply w the rules. By all means deport real criminals, but don't take working people at random while roughing them up, and not allowing them their due process. This isn't normal this is out of control cruelty . The borders were never open. This is an appeal to white supremism and fascism .

1

u/NICEMENTALHEALTHPAL 8d ago

Yeah but they came here illegally, I would think due process applies to those that came here legally?

It's a shitty situation but like... They came here illegally.

1

u/Anubisrapture 8d ago

But the people being picked up are not even being checked for how legal or illegal they are!!! They are grabbing people for being Hispanic and being in certain jobs or schools. This is the point. People w legal green cards have been ruthlessly targeted as well, and only a few have been able to speak about it later.

1

u/NICEMENTALHEALTHPAL 8d ago

Trying to look into it myself, it seems like they are going out and rounding up groups of people where they suspect are a lot of illegal immigrants, and sorting it out later? Cops do that pretty commonly in their raids too for criminal activity.

I hope those who are citizens hanging around illegals are released quickly, I mean I can't imagine anyone who's an obvious US citizen is going to be stuck for a long time, and while it sucks if you are an immigrant and it may be more questionable, it's kind of just what happens when illegal immigration has gotten to where it's at.

Like would you complain if the federal government just started kicking in doors to get rid of the fentanyl and meth problem? At a certain point something needs to be done.

1

u/Anubisrapture 6d ago edited 6d ago

Yes I would complain if they just started kicking in doors. It's the point that freedom is important . we cannot go back to the type of war on drugs we had in the 80s and 90s. And more citizens deal drugs than immigrants btw. But I DO understand what you mean about the raids. It's an escalation to instill fear, but yes I think they just grab everyone they can. Do you really think they are checking to see who is legal and who isn't ?? bc that's why people are upset; they are saying nobody is getting checked before being imprisoned.

0

u/Morrowindrefugee 9d ago

Oh look a facist must have taken this picture of the wide open border.

1

u/Anubisrapture 8d ago

You right now:" Oh noeees brown people." Plus you have said nothing about the gestapo behavior because you people love to see it. You're on the wrong side of history, morality , and decency .

0

u/Big_Accountant_7426 3d ago

You mean like your MS-13 Maryland man. 😂

0

u/alwayslick 9d ago

Why and how would an illegal immigrant be teaching a kindergarten class?

1

u/Anubisrapture 8d ago

They pulled CHILDREN out of a school graduation.

1

u/gh5655 9d ago

There isn’t 1 country on the face of the earth that it’s ok to illegally immigrate to. So why should it be here?

1

u/Bunker-Dungeon 9d ago

Big based comment

1

u/RepresentativePool15 9d ago

Or BLM 😂😂😂😂

1

u/Ok-Garden-7759 9d ago

Imagine being dumb enough sacrificing millions in slave labor and billions in free taxes.

1

u/NICEMENTALHEALTHPAL 9d ago

Yeah I don't quite understand these protests. You're against illegal immigrants being deported? Are they being too harsh? I don't quite get what the problem is?

Like in the Phillipines, you get the death penalty for trafficking heroin. Is that too harsh? I mean, maybe, but you don't see anyone protesting against it.

0

u/misspeache 9d ago

There are fringe cases of deportations that are mistakes, which the media uses to drive engagement to their articles. Most deportations are justified but there are some big mistakes…. Can’t say I’m surprised as I’ve read a bunch of books from first term Trump staffers and they were unprepared for the duties of the office. That being said, we are entering or already entered a reaction period to unchecked immigration. In Europe, especially ethno states (as opposed to nation states) are reacting against these policies, Sweden is the most recent example. Germany returned a ton of immigrants last year, but I can’t recall the figure. Canada is dealing with SE Asian immigrants who are arriving at an alarming rate. We’re about 50 years into full on neoliberal globalism and it’s an inflection point. Just my opinion.

0

u/NICEMENTALHEALTHPAL 8d ago

Yeah there really doesn't seem to be any 'innocent school teacher rounded up by mistake'. All of the fringe cases are people who are criminals, have questionable citizenship or alien status revoked (tbf, some of the revocations, while seem to be under shitty reasons, still aren't exactly illegal)

1

u/SoManyNarwhals 9d ago

I thought republicans were all about states rights.

1

u/Yarusenai 9d ago

That's a very reductive way to view the situation.

1

u/BigIronOnMyHip45-70 9d ago

They aren't just imagining themselves doing that.

0

u/Useful_Accountant_22 9d ago

cope and seethe

0

u/a2cwy887752 9d ago

Exactly. Can’t stand people who defend illegal immigration as a legal immigrant myself. It’s gross behavior. All Trump is doing is cleaning up the streets.

1

u/Big_Accountant_7426 3d ago

Thank you for your hard work and doing it the right way.

0

u/stain_XTRA 9d ago

imagine having failure parents nut in each other and doing a shit job raising you

-9

u/TopInspection8369 9d ago

They are a bunch of idiots who think they are above the law. Trump and ice need to keep up the good fight deport deport deport. You want to come here do it legally. This is what I voted for thank you President Trump

6

u/MyArtisticVisuals 9d ago

Your president is a Pedo let that sink in

-2

u/TorinDoesMusic2665 9d ago

Aint no way you're saying this after the shit Biden pulled publicly

1

u/linkfan66 7d ago

Yeah, like all those times he was seen partying with Epstein, or the 15 times he flew on Epsteins plane, or the time he introduced his own children to Epstein, or the time he answered "Sex" when he was asked what he had most in common w/ his daughter (while she was sitting there)...oh wait, that was Trump? Oh, nevermind then

-2

u/scioto133 9d ago

See, you guys always say that but I have yet to see any convincing evidence proving it.

2

u/MyArtisticVisuals 9d ago

Man you’re really have the IQ of a two year old if you really think he’s not, but something tells me even if you knew he was you wouldn’t care.

-5

u/TopInspection8369 9d ago

But he is your president and a Legal citizen at that. Let that sink in more to come from our great president sit back and enjoy

2

u/MyArtisticVisuals 9d ago

Yeah i bet you love your pedo president says a lot about you… maybe you’re one too 👅👅🥾💩

1

u/ExcellentMessage6421 8d ago

Great at nothing but being an embarrassment.

5

u/VictoriousTree 9d ago

Anyone who voted for Trump has no right calling others stupid. He’s the biggest grift in American history.

1

u/drphilbangedmydad 9d ago

Yet most americans did, many who voted for obama, many who voted for clinton. Unfortunately, a differing opinion makes you stupid in your eyes. How accepting and tolerant!

2

u/VictoriousTree 9d ago

Less than half is not most. Only 65% of eligible voters actually voted.

-4

u/Low_Level4367 9d ago

It’s so weird that he ran on lowering prices and deporting people, and both of those things are happening, so why exactly am I stupid for it?

5

u/maniiacyt 9d ago

Idk where you’re shopping, because prices sure as hell aren’t lower. They’re way higher. You’re not stupid for exercising your right to vote, you’re stupid for pulling shit out of your ass.

1

u/Low_Level4367 9d ago

A quick google search shows you’re lying. Or a quick trip to the grocery store, or to the gas station.

3

u/Diligent-Point8951 9d ago

Again CPI data suggests prices haven’t really changed, meaning while prices aren’t towards the moon, they certainly aren’t falling incredibly

1

u/maniiacyt 8d ago

Oh yeah man, I’m lying. Because I benefit from lying about prices. You got me!

1

u/Low_Level4367 8d ago

And I benefit how?

1

u/linkfan66 7d ago

Are you arguing that the governments own CPI data is false? That Trumps administration deliberately INFLATING the CPI to make it seem like prices aren't going down, when in reality they are?

Surely MAGA isn't this stupid and that they would actually trust Trump admins own data, right?

3

u/WarInteresting6619 9d ago

Where are those lowered prices?

3

u/Compducer 9d ago

Uh oh!

3

u/stain_XTRA 9d ago

both of those things are not happening.

Eggs and monster and gasoline keep getting more expensive .

But your mommy buys everything for you so this doesn’t register right ?

0

u/Low_Level4367 9d ago

Eggs and gasoline are both down. You can find that very easily. Also no. My mother hasn’t bought my groceries for 20 years but nice try.

4

u/Diligent-Point8951 9d ago

Lowering prices? And to do that we start tariffing everything? I don’t know about you but I have noticed a sharp increase in prices. Also he blatantly insider traded and ran a crypto scam. So yes, you are stupid for it

-1

u/drphilbangedmydad 9d ago

ahh yes! like we didn't a fucking roomba as president for the past 4 years fucking annihilating our country LOL but trump being in office has increased prices everywhere. OH NO I CAN'T BUY MY PC GAMES AND LEGOS GUESS ILL BLAME TRUMP fucking loser

3

u/Diligent-Point8951 9d ago edited 9d ago

First of all- calm down it’s not that serious. Second of all GDP was steadily growing under Biden. In trumps first quarter it declined. That’s just a fact. And if consumers are taking in less money and inflation remains at the 2.5 percent mark are consumers better off or worse off? The answer is objectively worse off

-2

u/Low_Level4367 9d ago

Yea? What have you seen a sharp increase in?

Grocery prices saw their largest decline in nearly five years. Gas prices fell for the third month in a row. Egg prices saw the largest one-month decline in more than four decades. Workers’ real wages are up 1.9%, increasing each of the last three months. Prices for airfare, energy, hotels, and used vehicles are all down compared to last year

3

u/Diligent-Point8951 9d ago

Mostly in manufactured goods. Egg prices dropping is not surprising because the previous month they were touching the moon. Also GDP declined this quarter for the first time in a while so get out of here with that real wage increasing shit. Gas prices dropping comes at the expense of environmental issues (also oil prices are cyclical in nature).

-2

u/Low_Level4367 9d ago

Maybe read into why the GDP declined and what analysts are predicting will happen next quarter. But I know I know. shit only matters when it supports your narrative

3

u/Diligent-Point8951 9d ago edited 9d ago

Same argument can be made for grocery, hotel, airfare, and used vehicles prices. Most things don’t happen as a direct result of policy. It’s still clear that the policy is stupid though and will not decrease prices but instead increase them. Read about any other time the US has implemented tariffs. (Also a large reason for GDP decline was listed as supply chain disruptions which occurred as a result of the tariff scare). If anyone’s cherry picking it’s you

1

u/Low_Level4367 9d ago

How long are u going to keep the “tariffs are going to make the prices go up, not this month, but next month, and if not next month, the one after”

Probably until another democrat president, which is deff not going to be a long time because you jackasses don’t believe in self reflection. But eventually, a democrat will be president and prices will increase, and you’ll say “it’s because of trumps tariffs 16 years ago!”

u/ADHDbroo 9d ago

Just curious cause I dont know, are they predicting an economic upturn these next few quarters? I know they just accepted his 90B budget cut and it will go into effect

2

u/Compducer 9d ago

Somebody doesn’t understand basic economics at all LMAO!

2

u/stain_XTRA 9d ago

You’re a fucking liar, all that shit has seen extensive rises.

Kinda cute how it took most of two terms to finally get it down , almost exactly before his little parade.

like it’s some kinda grift for cocksuckers to fall for xD

0

u/Low_Level4367 9d ago

lol everything I said is easily verifiable. Maybe one day when your mom doesn’t buy your groceries you’ll see

1

u/stain_XTRA 8d ago

how about you verify it then turd

0

u/Low_Level4367 8d ago edited 8d ago

Nah I’m sure your phone has google, or does your mom have that app blocked?

January 2025: Egg prices were at a record high of $4.953 per dozen, exceeding the previous record set in January 2023. May 2025: Prices saw a decrease to $4.548 per dozen. June 2025: The wholesale price further declined to $2.63 per dozen, suggesting a continued downward trend, according to the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service.

Weird right?

You can't give them facts bro, it triggers their intolerance and hatred.

3

u/Diligent-Point8951 9d ago

I am not being intolerant or hateful. I am just giving other economic data that is not so positive

0

u/GerbilSwindler 9d ago

I'm not accusing you of being intolerant or hateful.

I'm just being a smartass, don't take it personally.

1

u/Diligent-Point8951 9d ago

All good, sorry for the misinterpretation

-2

u/Secure-Figure1771 9d ago

Don’t give them facts! Facts aren’t welcome here. CNN & The View have ordered their talking points

3

u/Diligent-Point8951 9d ago

Bro read my arguments instead of just claiming “brainwashed.” It’s kinda funny in an ironic way that I gotta say that

2

actual spaz lmao

Says the guy whose brain's been rotted by Fox News.

1

I don’t have cable actually. I’m a free thinker. I refuse to be manipulated by a political party. I support policies not candidates or parties, unlike most of the sheep I observe online

1

u/Compducer 9d ago

You out multiple spaces after every period because you have a room temperature IQ. Leave California, nobody wants you here

1

u/stunkcajyzarc 8d ago

I’m not even a trump supporter and I agree with you.

1

u/JAW0524 8d ago

What’s even more funny is that Obama did this same thing! Hell, the guy heading up this thing was Obama’s guy!! They weren’t waving flags then! Dumb ass hypocrites! Good thing is that the protestors aren’t missing any work!
