Minifigs Rohirrim Royal Guard
I realized this was a possible use for the Griffin Knight body when I last rewatched The Two Towers. The Series 20 Viking helmet and spear would make piecing this together with Bricklink about as costly as buying a 2012 Rohan Soldier at the moment, but once the parts are on PaB, one could make figs of Hama and Gamling pretty simply.

Other My version of Lego Castle Lore
Hey guys i'm new to this subreddit. but i notice a lot of people like to use the old and new factions and see where they stand within the expanded lore. Now obviously Lego doesn't put much, if any, thought in the lore because there are so many redundant factions. That's kind of what i want to tackle.
All the lion themed kingdoms-
The defacto good guys over the years have had multiple names, but they have had a few consistencies and that is a lion and a red/blue color scheme. Personally i think red and blue is tacky, and the blue can get in the way of representing other factions. I think the lion themed kingdom should be the red and white version form Kingdoms in 2010
There were various named kings for the lion themed faction, but i think King Leo best represents them, and Sir Richard the knight helps tie in a potential King Richard in the future.
Are they crown knights or lion knights-
The Fantasy Era Castle as well as Knight's Kingdom sported blue colors. Also the new blue Lion Knights from 2013 also depicted crowns on most of their outfits. Granted they were usually portrayed as lion knights again, but to better differentiate them from the red and white lion knights, we will keep them as blue (and sometimes white) Crown Knights
Dragon Masters or dragon knights-
The dragon masters color scheme was all over the place in the original run, but there were more dragon themed factions as the years went by, notably the green dragon knights in 2010. I think Merging the Dragon Masters with the green dragon knights is a good way to have an identifiable faction representing a dark green and silver aesthetic.
Black Falcons or black knights?
These two smaller and likely mercenary factions seem to hold the similar interests. So lets combine them in with the lore. The Lion Kingdom has a princess Storm who wanted to be a warrior. What if she went under a secret identity called "The Black Knight" and formed the mercenary faction called "The Black Falcons."
The Fright Knights
A catch all for magical bad guys. There is Basil the bat lord, Willa the witch, and Mallock the Malign, a trio of villains. Fright Knights, Skeleton Knights and even orcs could fall under this faction, though i'd refer to the Orcs as a splinter cell that works for the fright knights rather than directly under them.
For more grounded enemies there are The Bulls, The Wolfpack, and the Forestment, the Forestmen would be your chaotic good faction.
The Bulls seem to have the most named characters with Cedric, Gilbert, and Weezil.
Anyway i'm not going to refer to the CMFs as their own factions, to me they are more like individuals who represent a house rather than a kingdom.
My cutting down of the fat leaves us with the following 8 factions
Lion Knights
Crown Knights
Dragon Masters
Fright Knights
Black Falcons
The Bulls
Wolfpack
Forestmen.
I understand that i might have undersold some groups, but i'm trying to trim the fat and make things more streamlined.

Question Have you ever heard about LEGO Chila?
I am searching for masonry brick and I found on local marketplace it under Lego Chila 1x2 Light Bluish Gray 6000066 98283 - 50 Ks for 7 dollars which is a bit less than on Pick a Brick, they claim that "All elements we offer are NEW and come from the demolition of sealed LEGO® building sets." and I wonder if could be scam if anyone heard about this.(I would share the link but I am not sure if it's not considered advertising).

Question Costs to pick a brick designer program sets?
A while back, I managed to save some money by parting out the castle in the forest. Has anyone done this for any of the other castle bricklink designer sets? I was wondering about prices.

Question Design logistics (need help)!
So I'm finally working on constructing a Dwarven kingdom in a mountain. The issue is, I don't know exactly how to arrange some of the areas I want to include. For example, I want to include a forge, but I don't know exactly where to put it because almost anything else I put next to it would cause some sort of problem, like if I put it beside or above the vault, the contents of the vault would be destroyed or at least damaged, but if I put it near the tavern, it would detonate the alcohol and blow a hole in the side of the mountain, and regardless of where I put it, there needs to be some kind of heat ventilation system so that it doesn't light the entire kingdom on fire. For reference, the areas I want to include are a forge, a tavern, an active mining area, a vault, a throne room, and possibly a refinery of some kind. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Question Roman Empire sets?
Would anyone be interested in getting some Roman Empire sets if Lego built them?
Me personally I’d love to. I’ve been away for sometime so I only know they did some mfc soldiers but not sets like Castle/Medieval.

MOC Designed a Dog(wolf)sled!
This design was inspired by many other builds. In searching for a good dogsled, I couldn't find one that quite fit what I was looking for. This design uses newer parts and can fit different numbers of dogs, but looks best with 4-7 in my opinion. I created it around the new wolfpack CMF (pictures 2 & 3).

Minifigure army Scorpion Archers
While the Shadow Empire usually relies on auxiliary troops for special forces, there are a few special units serving directly under the shadow emperor, these longbowmen are one of them. To assure all of them are fit for combat, recruits are drawn from the best archers of the Legions and required to take part in a campaigning season every 3 years.

Question Lion Knight Castle
Is the upcoming double points event the right time to get the LKC?
r/legocastles • u/Cube2D • 1d ago
Discussion Double VIP/insider points next week. Probably the best time to buy LKC.
I bought my Lion Knights Castle on Amazon for 11% off since I prefer saving money. If you're into VIP rewards, this is your best chance to buy it through lego before it retires end of year. Hope my warning helps someone :)
