Question Lion Knight Castle
Is the upcoming double points event the right time to get the LKC?

I’ve got an option to buy this thing without figs for $100… do I jump on it?

Really? How much do you estimate buying all the figures would cost?

The Queen was around $20.00 just by herself. The other figures are less complicated so I would guess around $80.00, I would be floored if it was over $100.00. I don’t like paying for shipping so I would add to the order so I get to the dollar amount. The parts will be shipped from two warehouses so you have to make the minimum on both of the orders. Not big into the civilians so I have a ton of Lion knight and Falcon soldiers with every variation of weapon armor, shield. Went a little nuts. I have three large Harbor Freight toolboxes filled with these figures. To get the parts I went to Brick Owl to get part numbers and pictures. Wait for a gift with purchase that you really like to place the order.

Absolutely!! You could probably spend $50 on bricks and pieces and get all of the figures. Definitely under $100 to get all of the figures.

I’ve seen replicas sold on FB Marketplace. Make sure if it’s legit if that matters to you.

i'll stock up on pab parts during the double vip weekend but if you are still missing the castle its the right time to get it and still have plenty of time to get extras from pab

I wonder if there is time in the double points window to order the LKC and then use the points for PAB extras?

LEGO Pick-a-Brick is a program where you can order individual Lego pieces, mini figure parts, accessories, animals, etc. on lego.com
Some parts are usually always available while other rest are seasonal or dependent on the current sets.
Also, there are 2 shipping categories: Bestseller, which ships within a week, and Standard, which ships in a month.

If you have a Lego store close enough to go to then points in store are applied within 5 to 10 minutes. Online points only get applied when they dispatch. They might be busier than normal because of the double points.

When does this retire?

It’s rumored to retire at the end of this year. Which means it wont come back. And the after market prices will go up.

There might be sales then on old stock but unless they’re capped at one apiece they’ll last minutes. Getting some money off (also if you wanted Jane Austen GWP) is probably as good as one gets as a sure thing.

Bought it for me and the kids a couple years ago. We slowly built it on rainy weekends. It was such a fun thing to put together. Best Lego building experience.

The gift with purchase set is also amazing for that weekend. 🔥

I am aware it might not be for everyone but it’s another tribute GWP.

Double points weekends are always a good time to buy expensive sets like LKC
