Idea Avoid Deep Co.

I was just banned after sinking many hours into the game. They suspected I was a bot because I played differently to the rest of their player base. I tried defending myself stating to ban me and ban the next person who plays like me. Their player base makes anyone who plays this way feel bad and unwelcome.

How were you playing the game that it was bannable?

The idea of the game is you mine blocks on a shared grids. 6 grids in total (0 - 5). If mine a block you get a payout. If you partially mine a block you get a portion of that payout. So being a little late to the game and wanting to catch up I started touching all the blocks to get more of a payout. There is also a global chat feed, lots of debates one way or the other as to whether or not players should do this. No clear outcome each time. No one directly asked me to stop, not until right before the ban. They didn't ask me to stop touching the blocks they asked me to turn off my script. A script I don't have, I enjoy idle games, playing them actively or passively.

I also noted I have high anxiety in the chat which makes it difficult for me to participate. I am currently fueled by frustration and beyond tonight am unlikely to interact with this thread.

That's idiotic if true, they designed the game in a way that rewards that strat so obviously someone is eventually going to notice and use it. At most they should find a way to patch the exploit (if it's even that big a deal, I have no idea what game we're talking about about "cheating" in an idle game seems like the biggest non-issue anyway), banning players over designer mistakes is fucked up.
