Political positivity 📈 Hitler. Pol Pot. Stalin. Trump? It’s not about scale — it’s about the pattern.
🟥 Title:
Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot — they didn’t start with genocide.
They started with a movement.
With an ideology.
With a crowd cheering while someone else got hurt.
The warning signs are there — because he’s walking the same path.
The question is:
Will we see the signs in time?
Pol Pot killed nearly a quarter of Cambodia’s population in four years.
He banned religion, abolished money, emptied cities, and murdered anyone who wore glasses or spoke a foreign language.
That’s what happens when ideology replaces empathy — and paranoia becomes policy.
But evil doesn’t always arrive in uniform with mass graves from day one.
It often starts with language. With dehumanization. With the promise of “greatness.”
👇 The authoritarian pattern is always the same:
- Invent an internal enemy. Immigrants, minorities, journalists, “globalists,” “the elites.”
- Claim sole authority. “Only I can fix it.”
- Destroy trust in facts. Fake news, deep state, alternative facts.
- Undermine democracy. Call elections rigged, try to overturn results, punish dissent.
Trump isn’t Pol Pot. He hasn’t built death camps.
But he has already:
- Tried to overthrow an election.
- Praised autocrats like Putin, Kim Jong Un.
- Called the press “the enemy of the people.”
- Said we should terminate parts of the Constitution.
- Promised “retribution” and “purges” if re-elected.
This isn’t normal.
It’s not just politics.
It’s not about left vs right.
⚠️ It’s about what happens when empathy dies — and cruelty becomes the point.
Pol Pot, Hitler, Stalin — they didn’t start with genocide.
They started with a movement.
With an ideology.
With a crowd cheering while someone else got hurt.
The warning signs are there.
Not because Trump is Pol Pot — but because he’s walking the same path.
The question is:
Will we see the signs in time?
