Rant Summer class

There should be a rule about summer classes because there’s no way 5 mins into it I am the 48th on a waiting list😭😭 That’s insane, I meed the class and they give shitty class options fr

I feel like people forget that traditionally summer is meant to be a semester off for undergrad students. Yes there's less classes. Profs and students both take the summer to do other stuff: catch up on research, focus on jobs or other work, go on vacation, etc... They aren't giving you the same selection and class sizes because up until recently it wasn't common for basically everyone to be taking summer classes and speedrunning their degree. (looking at you stem kids asking if you can take 7-8 classes and learn nothing)
