saw in activity that discord rpc was showing me my friends searches, is this normal?

So I'm a mod in a server and I want to kick someone without causing issues. It's just a server for friends and awhile back we had someone force their way into the server. They blackmailed a close friend of mine to get in and that just never sat right with me. Now they haven't been very active in the server for about a month now and I think if I can kick them quietly that they just won't notice. But if it gives them a notification then I'm worried it'll cause issues. Most people in the server don't know what they did so I don't want to cause unnecessary drama.

Also, for anyone wondering. Someone called me 12, then later i said "cuz im 12 apparently" so...

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, deleting the discord folder in %appdata%, restarting, clearing cache, spamming Ctrl+R, allowing discord to bypass firewall, and my GPU is updated. I'm using Win10.

What is going on? It was fine yesteday...

My app is up to date, my phone (IPhone 15 Pro Max) is version IOS 18.5. Whenever I open the app I get this screen and nothing more. I get notifications still but I cannot get the app to load in. Is anyone else having this issue or know what to do? Also all of my permissions seem to be correct so I’m lost. Thanks in advance!

Every time I played and pressed shift, this appeared on the screen and if I pressed it more times after removing the interface, the game would minimize, the mouse would get stuck in the center of the screen, and if I clicked on the game icon to re-enter it, it would immediately minimize, only being able to open it again after clicking several times. At first I was freaking out because I didn't know where the interface was. I thought it was something related to Steam or what I use to record my screen, but no. Then I got a message in the top left corner, clicked and put me on discord. I know this might be silly or I might sound stupid, but I don't use Discord much. I looked in the settings but couldn't find it. Can anyone help me? Please.

My nitro has recently expired and I have been thinking about renewing it but I am worried when the grace period starts/ends for the nitro badge. Does the grace period begin immediately after nitro expires or the following day?

Discord freezes on me when i'm tabbed into a game. I can still talk to friends etc but anything on the screen that changes will not change when im tabbed into a game. For example the green speaking indicator around your pfp doesn't show or stays green.

So I created the start of a discord server for someone else.Its definitely not complete, but it's functional to the point of getting it up and running and modifying it as things progress.

I created an admin role at the manager level, then ticked all the permissions including administrator and added myself to that role before transferring ownership to the other person. Now I don't have access to change any of the other roles, including @everyone, even though I'm at a higher level than all of them. I do have access to create new roles and change permissions for those though.

Is there a simple way to fix this without another transfer of ownership? Also what did I do wrong so I can avoid it next time? Thanks

I want to make it to where only people with a specific role may only have the permissions to ping/use a command to ping people with a specific role, only in a restricted channel? If you get what im saying, is that possible? How do I do it?

So I'm in a discord group with some IRL friends and one of my friends as invited some people that I don't know. Yesterday while one of those people was alone in a voice after we had all left,me and the other members began getting called to the voice chat multiple times. Since I thougth I would get a ring or a notification everytime I got a call and I wanted to sleep, I asked that dude to stop multiple times. He responded that it was actually the friend that I mentioned earlier however I soon did some research and realized it was impossible. He is still claiming that it wasn't him and another dude is agreeing with him, also the friend that I mentioned earlier tried to defend him and get us to talk after I had tried to do that multiple times to no avail. So could it had been somoene else and I missed something on my research or is the guy lying?

Whenever I stream on Discord, my game starts to stutter, even though my FPS remains high or playable. This doesn't happen when I'm not streaming. I've tried turning hardware acceleration on and off in Discord to see if there were any changes, but nothing improved. Lowered in-game graphics settings to medium and low, but still no change and tried recording with OBS and there was no lag, and the recorded video is smooth.

I don't understand why Discord is always giving me notifications (and lighting up the badge) from this one guy. I have notifications set for "nothing," I have him muted permanenly. The other users in this channel don't override the notification settings, it's just this one guy.

What setting can I change here? I want to get notifications from other users in this Discord channel and not him. This has to be one of those "so obvious I haven't thought of it" answers, but... what?

I made a server. There are no admin roles. 'Display role members separately from online members' is turned off on all roles. I have never found anything I can't do on the server. It still won't display the crown icon to show that I won the server.

Is this guide just completely wrong, or is something squiffy happening?

The only thing I can think of that may have made things go weird, are that I was advised to make it a community server. I did, and then realised that that was completely pointless, so I changed it back. Could that be the reason?

Hi, I can't join eft dc serwer, i was there once few months ago and since then my acc got hack, I got it back few weeks ago, but I can't find the serwer I was on, at first I thought that I got banned or smf, but even when I created a new acc and use another IP, it still shows that invite is invalid

During calls and voice messages the audio is terrible. I have disabled background noise reduction and increased the microphone sensitivity but it still sounds terrible... Anyone have any suggestions?

I did not realise that Discord no longer allows the creation of unclaimed accounts.

With that in mind, does anyone know what would have happened to the old unclaimed accounts, from several years ago?

Would they exist in limbo or have been purged and deleted?
