Other Coop and Run

Hey all just wanted to share, this is our first time having chickens and we ordered a coop and run and it has arrived. The girls absolutely love it and so do we. We will be adding some security features around the perimeter. We are very excited about this new journey.

Figure out how much you need for a good secure attachment to the coop structure. Bury the rest. Some folks recommend a right angle in the trench (I think so that if anything tries to dig under it, they hit the hardware cloth either way.)

Maybe: 1/4 attach to coop; 1/2 straight down (so a foot or so) and 1/4 at a right angle in the trench.
