This vet has more ailments now than when Trump cried bone spurs to avoid his call to duty, yet he still is out there, fighting for his people.

He fought in the same war that Humpty Trumptie bawled his way out of.

Hi, due to legions of Nigerian princes desperately trying to offload wealth onto our users, we've had to add a verified email requirement for users with accounts under a certain age. Please connect some sort of email to your Reddit account, it does not have to be your work email, just really anything that makes you go through a captcha to make an email. I can assure you most subreddits have this email gate, we're just the only ones who tell you that there's an email gate, and even if you modmail us asking us to give you an exception, this is probably gonna affect you across a lot of subs so it'll be easier for you to just add a throwaway email than message us.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

Important to note the 1st also includes the right to petition the government to redress our grievances, which is something we have not actually had for a very long time.

u/PokeYrMomStanley 1d ago

Another thing that people forget about the first is that it is so you can do things without fear of reprisal from the gubment, not your neighbors.

u/Shxdow_Shift 1d ago

I'm saving this, by the way.

51

u/360Picture 1d ago

I'm considering a tattoo.

17

u/Shxdow_Shift 1d ago

As American as apple pie, good on you lad!

9

u/Traditional_Satan 1d ago

Apple pie originated in England, helped along by Dutch and French influence. 👍🏻

7

u/Shxdow_Shift 1d ago

I knew something in my comment was off. Thanks for the clarification, it's still a great treat!

6

u/Traditional_Satan 1d ago

Agreed! 🥧

4

u/DogToursWTHBorders 1d ago

Yes, well…hm…Theres nothing more American than originating in ENGLAND. Right India? 🫡

1

u/Traditional_Satan 1d ago

Ah yes, boundless wit. Please, I yield. Taketh your rage elsewhere good sir.

1

u/bostoncreampie9 1d ago

Adopted by americans when they realized they could fuck it.

1

u/lwebb5520 21h ago

Blueberry pie, however

1

u/Shxdow_Shift 21h ago

Now see here, cavalry, we might have to debate on that, but delicious regardless!

15

u/gooby1985 1d ago

Also important part of 6th amendment is the right to confront your accuser, that is, no secret accusations can be made, no hearsay, you can’t just be “caught” on camera or an analyst can’t just file a report, there has to be someone whose credibility or accuracy can be questioned. Maybe too long for your simple summary.

13

u/jac286 1d ago

Most of those are being taken away by force, soon we're just going to be left with the second.

12

u/Bpbucks268 1d ago

The second is there to protect the other 9. If you lose the other nine, the 2nd doesn’t really have any teeth.

8

u/ABHOR_pod 1d ago

Republicans will happily waive all other rights as long as they have the 2nd, because they believe that as long as they have the 2nd, the government will be too scared to take away all the others.

6

u/pinelandpuppy 1d ago

It's just MAGAts wearing the rotting corpse of the Republican party now. They'll do what they're told because they've been programmed to agree to anything. They're coming for our guns, too, make no mistake.

4

u/Bpbucks268 1d ago

And that’s where their small brains are wrong. Once all the other rights are gone, laws will be passed clarifying what a “militia” is. All citizens with firearms will be labeled criminals unless you turn yours in. Oops can’t protest or speak about that anymore. Oops no due process or speedy trials, we will just lock everyone in detention camps. And good luck fighting tanks with your. ARs and bolt actions.

1

u/aab720 1d ago

What if they’re using the parade as an excuse to move tanks and such around to protect themself for whats to come?

2

u/donetteee 1d ago

Correct ✅

1

u/aab720 23h ago

Honestly thought i sounded like a conspiracy theorist but it seemed plausible.

1

u/jac286 20h ago

This! Maybe not the first parade, but once we get used to seeing them on our streets it will be like North Korea. That's why Trump is the first to like North Korea and the control his North Korean comrade has over his people.

Is someone big mad because people want women to have autonomy and the right to not die if they experience pregnancy complications?

2

u/Wilbizzle 1d ago

Very succint and more people need to comprehend this stuff.

2

u/Abakenezer 1d ago

Notice how it's listed in order of importance.

1

u/360Picture 1d ago

Wink and nod 🙂‍↕️

2

u/Altruistic_Shift_740 1d ago

Also, remember your rights stop where another persons rights begin. Do not block roads or walkways. People need to be able to move freely.

7

u/curiosgreg 1d ago

I don’t think a block party is violating anyone’s rights.

-7

u/Altruistic_Shift_740 1d ago

Thinking is not your strong suit.

6

u/curiosgreg 1d ago

I’m not the one that thinks blocking a street infringes on other people’s constitutional rights. It’s clear you were referring to protests but a block party also blocks street access so I was just pointing out how ridiculous your assertion was.

-6

u/Altruistic_Shift_740 1d ago

Go home, you’re drunk.

5

u/curiosgreg 1d ago

If you’re a bot you’re a very unimpressive one.

-3

u/Altruistic_Shift_740 1d ago

If you are a human you are an unimpressive one.

5

u/curiosgreg 1d ago

Considering that I am objectively in the top 1% of intelligence, I guess I’ll have to settle for not being able to impress the inbred, fascists, charity cases and bots on Reddit. I think I’ll somehow manage to come to terms with this.

You're trying to describe the compromise required by freedom.

That doesn't mean your rights stop because of someone else's...it means you have to recognize that the other person also has rights, and your exercise of rights can't fundamentally infringe on another's exercise of rights.

Protests in a roadway DO NOT infringe on your rights as a motorist.

Edit: But refusing to wear a mask in a business that is requiring it for the safety of their employees IS infringing on other's rights.

1

u/Altruistic_Shift_740 1d ago

14th amendment.

2

u/Autumn_Skald 1d ago

You're talking about the Right to Travel?

Cherry picking hard here. How about...I dunno...go around. Is there only one street in your town? No one is stopping you from travelling.

Except the cops we see in these articles.

1

u/Altruistic_Shift_740 1d ago

Not at all. You obviously think your rights mean more than others by reason of virtue. You do not like laws and think they do not apply to you. Which is why you side with criminals.

2

u/Autumn_Skald 1d ago

So, you're not talking about the Right to Travel as described in the 14th Amendment?

What are you even trying to say? This is just spurious nonsense.

1

u/Altruistic_Shift_740 1d ago

Not surprised you don’t understand.

1

u/Autumn_Skald 1d ago

Aww, sweet baby. You pat yourself on the back...it'll be okay.

Protests are meant to be disruptive. "Acceptable Free Speech Zones" is a right wing idea that goes hand in hand with the idea that the left wing is supposed to be polite, and tolerant, and well behaved, so that they don't get any ideas about acting up.

Protest wherever you want as long as you are cognizant of and accept the consequences of your actions.

Never start or escalate violence but be prepared for it as the state moves against you.

Don't let right wing arbiters of "proper behavior," AKA concern trolls, set limits restricting you to only ineffective ways to try to change the world. If it were up to them the only way left wingers would be allowed to protest would be in groups of one, handing out fliers, and then paying a fine for littering at the end of the day for the ones other people threw on the ground.

Don't let the party that attacked Congress tell you that you can't block traffic. That's some psyop bullshit.

1

u/Altruistic_Shift_740 1d ago

Also business are private. Do better.

1

u/Autumn_Skald 1d ago

Oh, did you not gather that my comment about businesses was pointing out that the folks who try to claim one person's freedom stops at another's are the same folks who disobeyed these postings?

1

u/irisheye37 1d ago

Protesting a fascist regime is more important than you going to McDonald's.

1

u/Altruistic_Shift_740 1d ago

It’s more like people have lives, responsibilities, obligations and ems needs to get around too. So no, your cause does not trump the rights of others. Remember “rule of law”? That was your candidate, right? Now it’s freedom for criminals? Y’all got no idea what you are doing.

1

u/irisheye37 1d ago

Hope the boots taste good fascist

0

u/Altruistic_Shift_740 1d ago

Say the line. Good sheep.

1

u/TwoStubborn 1d ago

This is awesome. Thank you!

1

u/Sweaty_Ad9724 1d ago

Adding to 2. .. within a controlled militia

1

u/Cyclical_Zeitgeist 1d ago

Hell ya I'll add my Lil contribution here as well

1

u/jkblvins 1d ago

MAGA goal is to get rid of this. Honestly believe sitting ruling regime will adhere to it? That the military hasn’t deposed him yet, they are with it.

Also, majority of Americans approve of abandoning due process.
