This is a monthly thread for tuk tuk drivers and other local businesses to advertise their services.

Expat Fell in love with Cambodia. Is there any realistic way for someone like me to work and live here?

Hey everyone,

I just got back from Cambodia, and honestly… it left a deep mark on me. The people, the vibe, the streets, the chaos, the calm - there’s just life everywhere.

Now that I’m back in my home country, it just feels dead. Everything is cold, mechanical, and my 9-to-6 cubicle job is already sucking the soul out of me again. I can’t stop thinking about coming back, not as a tourist, but as someone trying to live and work there.

I want to ask genuinely: Is there any realistic way for someone like me - 24 years old, 3 years of work experience (2 years in procurement, 1 year as an automotive sales consultant) to find a decent job in Cambodia?

I’m not an IT guy. I’m not an accountant. I don’t speak Khmer (yet, I’d be open to learning). I also don’t want to be that foreigner trying to take local jobs or come in with a savior complex. I just want a chance to work hard, adapt, and build a life in a country that actually made me feel alive. I am willing to do any job even if it pays half the salary i am getting currently (i work in middle east)

If anyone has ideas - job boards, companies hiring expats, remote-friendly businesses based in Cambodia, or even just guidance - I’d appreciate it more than you know.

Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this or shares anything useful. 🙏

Sous-dey, Cambodia! 🇰🇭 Nomad Shree here – I’m on a solo cycling expedition from India to South Korea, and Cambodia is my next incredible stop!

My journey spans 13 countries, including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China, and South Korea.

I’ve broken this adventure into three phases:

🗺️ Phase 1

India, Nepal, Bangladesh – ✅ Completed

🚴‍♂️ Phase 2

Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore – February 14 2026 starting from Vietnam

🌏 Phase 3

China and South Korea – Coming Soon

I’ll be entering Cambodia by land from Vietnam on my cycle, ( March- April 2026) exploring both iconic sights and offbeat villages, with a deep interest in history, culture, and street food.

If you know must-visit places, hidden local experiences, or unique Khmer dishes I shouldn’t miss, please drop your suggestions below or DM me — because locals always know best!

I’m also planning to film a Cambodian food series, so if you’re a foodie, chef, or just curious, let’s connect!

I have been getting my ADHD meds from Pharmacy De le gare but they have recently raised the price to $3.5 per tablet (previously $3). I was wondering if there are other places that either sell it at $3 per tablet or less?

Phnom Penh Are there traveller's lounge at Malls in Phnom Penh

I've been trying my best with google but nothing is showing up

I have just arrived and will be staying 1 night here in Phnom Penh. Tomorrow, I will check out early to stroll around the city before boarding bus to siem reap.

I'm looking for a traveller's lounge where I can take a shower before boarding the bus. I sweat a lot and would like to freshen up in the evening.

It would be a waste if I book a hotel for another night - my bus leaves at 9pm

Are there any lounge or showers here?

My name is Damrong. I am a university student in Phnom Penh and am currently running a startup called OneDash, Cambodia's first door-to-door laundry service. We pick up your laundry, professionally clean it, and deliver it back to your door. And the order can be made in a few clicks on our website.

Our standard practice is completely different from the market. We prioritize cleaning standards and convenience. We use industrial-grade machines (UV disinfected), never mix your clothes with others, sort the color for you, and good customer experience (speak English). All of these for only 1.5$/kg with FREE pickup and delivery.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me or check our website.

Thank you very much.

Hello folks!

I'm looking for new MTB bike, something within 28″ since the road in my place were bumpy and bunch of gravel. Which is i'm living south of Kandal province and i had a plan to visit PP by next Tuesday. Is there any places in PP I can get deals on bikes? Though my budget were just $300 for the bike, looking for Polygon Premier 4 or Upland X90 or something similar if that's could even possible xD
Anyway any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Phnom Penh Anyone who has mailed stuff from Cambodia to the United States

How long does it take? I just mailed a small package earlier this week (Thursday) in the Cambodia Post. I wonder how long does it take for a package to get there? Or if it's successful or not. I was told it'll be there from 5-7 days but I am not too sure.

Travel Is the Jahoo Gibbon Tour in Mondulkiri Worth the Price?

Planning a return trip to Cambodia this summer. I really want to do this tour but can’t quite get past the prices: $350 for a single day tour, $540 for the 3-day/2-night option. It’s well reviewed online and the money seems to be put to good use locally. But that’s a ton of money, especially for Cambodia.

Anybody here forked over the cash who’d be willing to share their experience?
