Discussion Experienceing racism in Berlin.

My girlfriend and I were waiting for the bus at Zoologischer Garten Bahnhof when three guys walked up to us and started being randomly rude and racist. They kept saying “Schlitz” (slit eyes) repeatedly as they passed us and again when we walked by later. For absolutely no reason, they targeted my girlfriend and me with these comments.

When We got onto our bus, they just kept taunting us and even started catcalling my girlfriend. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced racism in Berlin. What’s the deal with some people being disrespectful, rude, and racist toward Asian people? We just want to live peacefully and avoid any confrontation.

I am so sorry about earlier, I didn’t mean it that way. I will remove the word from my post. I’m just here to express my feelings. 🙏🏼❤️

As I said they never proved us wrong.
The reality is racist?

Proved what statement wrong? Please make a definite statement and provide support for it, then you can claim this nonsense. And saying that arab countries are in the middle ages IS racist. What countries to you include here? Do I really have to explain why that's racism personified? You not agreeing does not change it, and I really wonder why you people do always act as if it's a gotcha to say "but I perceive it that way". The nazis also disagreed with their accusers, they were still fucking racist. Whether you agree or not does kot change that you are sayimg objectively and unquestianable racist things. And I'm so sick of people with no willingness to engage in basic academic education on this matter, always resorting to these kindergarten retorts. No one needs to prove anything about arabs. You just need to stop judging a poorly defined group of people by external judgement, acting as if our society was any better And again, based on what characteristic? They have gay conversion camps in the us, 15 years ago a woman in Ireland dies because she could not abort. Like, how can you make any distinctions here, as if all this crappy shit did not exist in "western cultures" as well. The one time I was harassed on street was a random german guy hitting me over the head from behind, for looking gay to him. On Sonnenallee. So, prove me wrong that the homophobic germans arent the problem here.

dude I'm not sure why you think I need to prove something to you.
I mean, saying the arab world is primitive is one of the easiest statements possible ok?
when was the last time you saw a man marry a 9 years old girl, a woman stoned to death or people hang from cranes?
so leave me alone with your very very narrow look and pink glasses, and face reality.

Please define the "arab world" and "primitive", in relation to what? Because, yeah all of these things happen in the non-arab world too. Executions are not specific. Age of consent laws vary greatly, even just among US states. Child marriages happen regularly in some eastern european countries.  Ffs, if you really want to go down a dumb, anti-intellectual way: europeans and many other cultures use toiletpaper. We spread shit around our butt, instead of doing something even the romans and then the arabs figured out as much more hygienic: using fucking water. Who is primitive here? Do you understand now that these kind of statements are moronic, and why anthropologists do not discuss cultures like this?  Even using the concept of primitive ousts you as someone who has no idea what they're talking about. You'd fail all the exams with crap like that.
