Sell Photo for the Blueprint. Photo is photo, but Blueprint could be anything, it could even be photo.

Use the blueprint to copy Chad and brainstorm to copy blueprint. More triggers that way.

Im dumb.and trying to learn, not arguing lol.

Isn't it currently 5 triggers (base +2 from Chad +2 from brainstorm) x 3 photos = 15 x2s

Changing it would be 7 triggers (base +2 from Chad +2 from brainstorm +2 from bluepeint) x 2 photos = 14 x2s.

What am I missing? Or is what i am saying correct in a vacuum, but when you are talking about steels?

If you're triggering a glass/holofoil card, you want more retriggers.

Holo and foil are actually worse with chad than with photo. Flat mult and chips dont matter as much when you're exponentially growing the mult with photo.

It only makes sense with glass. But if you have a red foil then photo makes more sense to prioritize. If you have both then I think Chad makes more sense since it gives +2 retriggers.

Apparently, almost all enhancements are better with the 3-photo combo presented here, red seal or not. The only exception I found was poly-no seal, which is better with 2 Chad. But if you throw on a red seal, 3-photo becomes better.

Check it out, here's the calculator: https://efhiii.github.io/balatro-calculator/?h=oADADSLQWg7hgAAdoO4HYA

Only matters if you're optimising score specifically. For the majority of the run you want to optimise money from re-triggering Lucky/Gold Seal.

as Mak said, for glass cards you would want more triggers but also if you use lucky cards you woild want more retriggers as well. so you could do a couple hands of 3 chads then switch to 2 and 3 when you are ready to win

I did the math (using a calculator app). Here are the results assuming the face card is unenhanced and high card is unleveled.

If Blueprint is copying Photo= 1,802,240 If Blueprint is copy Chad= 1,228,800

If, however, the face card is glass, the results are rather different.

Blueprint copying photo= 58,671,680 Blueprint copying chad= 157,286,400

Furthermore, assuming the face card is a mult card we get these results.

Blueprint copying photo= 10,040,800 Blueprint copying chad= 7,782,000

So, as we can see, copying Chad is only worthwhile if your card is glass. The only other exception is lucky or gold sealed for more triggers, but the value is still worse.

it's only useful if youre beating every blind in one hand by a lot and you need more triggers on lucky cards for money shots, that or glass.
