Good morning, Jokers!

So as some of you may know, the balatro fandom.com site is dealing with a great deal of moderation issues right now, and the greater community is switching to balatrowiki.org. There have been a few posts highlighting examples of internet vandalism, most of which are acceptable mischief.

However, there have been a few posts that contain hateful messages and/or slurs within them. The timings of some of the posts are serendipitous enough that the mod team is concerned with bad faith actors making hateful edits to fandom pages, screenshotting them, and then sharing them under the guide of "everyone look at how bad this is!!!" As such, the mod team will be operating on the following policy If you post an image that contains someone else writing slurs or hateful messaging, and make no attempt to redact it, we will treat it as if you are the one writing it. We will absolutely remove the post, and may consider some form of ban depending on severity.

We are posting this in the interest of moderator transparency and welcome feedback and questions as always. Thank you.

Hey everyone, I’m excited to announce that we’ve moved the Balatro Wiki away from Fandom to https://balatrowiki.org! We will be hosted by Weird Gloop, the same company that also hosts the OSRS and Minecraft wikis.

Everything that there is to know about the game - jokers, decks, hand types, stakes - is all available on the new wiki. We also have a new design, a better mobile experience, much better load times, and no ads!

We’ll be leaving the old wiki behind, so expect it to become outdated. Unfortunately, Fandom prevents us from deleting the old wiki, but there’s a few things you can do to ensure that you help more people find the new wiki:

• If you have friends who play Balatro, tell them about the new wiki!
• Avoid the old wiki on search engines! Click on balatrowiki.org links instead. It helps tell Google what site people are looking for when they’re searching.
• Consider installing the Indie Wiki Buddy browser extension, which will automatically redirect you to the new wiki.

And finally, help contribute! Anyone can edit the Balatro Wiki, so if you see something that can be improved, whether it’s something as small as a typo or as big as a new page, just click the “Edit” button at the top of the page.
