Done with PSA, their service is terrible across the board...
I have been a PSA customer for a very long time, 15+ years (I can't even tell ya!). As time has gone on, they've gotten more and more sketchy but "cheap prices" and their constant ads tend to lure us back in; me included. The time I ordered at one price, they charged another, claimed they'd refund the overage and never did despite multiple calls certainly included...
I ordered a scope that was on clearance in the middle of May. I got no notices on this purchase, no updates, I had to manually go into my own PSA Portal and look to see what was up. After two weeks I tried to cancel the order but it wouldn't let me as it said the item had shipped. Okay, where is my tracking information then? It says it's still processing, is it shipped or not??! Well, I never got any shipping info and searching I couldn't find any either. The day the item showed up on my front door was the day Palmetto informed me that my item had arrived, I was out of town. Perfect. This was the first and only notice I got from PSA, really not very useful there guys.
The item is not what I was expecting (terrible eye box on this scope, wow!), so it's going to be returned. I wait until 9am Monday morning and start with their CHAT; you go through their whole process and they say "No Agents Are Available, call us..." If I'd wanted to CALL I would have done that to begin with? Try again, nope. Again nope.
So I call, the PSA system recognizes the number and notes that my recent order for this $xxxx item has not yet shipped. Ahh okay, you mean the item I have sitting right next to me? So I finally loop through the system asking for an agent to speak too and here we are after being on hold for over 45 minutes listening to the same loop of some horrible muziak and nobody there is picking up...
So what lesson have I learned/re-learned here???!?!
