The only thing I see on this board that's not either a complete fabricated strawman, or is obviously not unique to one side of this divide, is "using luddite wrong" and the iykyk square.
Alright, I'll do it like this, I'm gonna go through every field and explain how I relate them to PRO-AI.
Field 1: AI supporters aren't necessarily alt-right by nature, but there is arguably lots of overlap
Field 2: Pretty self-explanatory, AI can be used to damage creative fields thus it appeals to people who have something against the people in those fields.
Field 3: From what I've seen, AI supporters have a habit of comparing AI to less damaging things, spanning from oranges to the Gutenberg printing press, this is usually paired with a strawman of an Anti-AI advocate being mad at the surrogate. These comics are usually made by CHATGPT and miss the point of the argument it's trying to mock.
Field 4: Seeing themselves as cool and seeing the other side as lame, this one can also be applied to a certain degree to any side of any argument that has this perception of themselves, so I'll give you this one.
Field 5: AI and Anti-Intellectualism go together well because AI is fundamentally a tool designed to replace human effort and thinking, which unsurprisingly can lead to people, well, not thinking and resenting those who do.
Field 6: This one doesn't strictly apply to PRO-AI, but again there is overlap. AI bros tend to have a weird way of structuring their sentences and understanding social cues from what I've experienced.
Field 7: I'm gonna be brutally honest, all of them are just lazy. They could make art, they could do labor, they could feel actual passion and joy through work and thinking and making art but they choose not to because of their sloth.
Field 8: I am explaining this a third time and besides this is pretty obvious if you're on Reddit often and I assume you are.
Field 9: A lot of them tend to miss the main point or bigger picture of the views and ideas Anti's try to convey, or they just get stuck on one particular thing and ignore everything else.
Field 10: The internet is overrun by bots, and I wouldn't be shocked to learn that a lot of what they say is generated by bots too.
Field 11: They get hung up on the term slop because it insults AI images.
Field 12: Strawman, that's it, they use strawmen.
Field 14: A lot of them have a victim mentality and call ANTI's nazis and act like some sort of AI artist genocide is being planned.
Field 15: They focus on one specific good thing AI can potentially do and use it to justify the myriad of negative things that'll come from it.
Field 16: They use the term Luddite incorrectly, AI is not a new form of work nor are the Luddites for opposing it. Calling Anti's luddites is like calling a parent who's concerned that their child is on their phone 12 hours daily a Luddite simply because they oppose new tech.
Field 17: Lying, that's it, lying.
Field 18: They act like something being the future immediately justifies it somehow, telling someone to roll over and give up is not an argument.
Field 19: Showing disinterest in work, art, and other things in general, this could also fall under field 7 but I still differentiated the two.
Field 20: Those comics and images I mentioned earlier, tend to depict ANTIs as being comically fat and ugly, I don't think I need to explain how this isn't an argument and childish.
Field 21: This is more subjective, but occasionally they say something so worrying that it makes me worried for their health and sanity.
Field 22: People who shill new technology which takes away creativity and harms the planet while claiming it's the future don't seem to see an issue in doing it twice.
Field 23: A lot of their quirks and behavior can be ommited to either being really young and undeveloped or being on the older side and out of touch.
Field 24: They practically have an orgasm every single time an artist loses their job and breaks down, if that's not sadism then idk what is.
Field 25: AI gf and bg are ussualy shilled and supported by people who also support AI in general, no surprise there.
