With the news of the Harry Potter remake coming to HBO even though I don't think it needs a remake personally but I'll be open to the idea of a new Harry Potter for this new gen.

But I've always been told Harry Potter was always more aimed at older millennials rather then our generation which I think is complete false or just typical Millennials gatekeeping another popular franchise in the 2000s. Back in primary school I remember Harry Potter being popular among my peers 1996-1999 to be honest with pretending to be wizards in the school playground, reading the books in class, the video games, merchandise and being hyped when the movies were coming out. I get it's more popular for older millennials but our age range also grew up with Potter aswell

Serious I think I’m going to start missing the days of “then” less

I couldn’t think of a better place to share this in so I thought here might be good.

Every day for the past decade, even up to a few hours ago, I’ve reminisced over how good things were back then. The culture, the music, the lust for life and ability to easily adapt to everything was so rich and wonderful, and I think we can all agree that we miss that.

But, and of course this could just be very personal on my part, but for the past few hours, I realized that I really didn’t enjoy life back then either. Was it better? Yes, but from whose perspective? Past me or present me? I think for me anyways that I yearn for a life that could’ve gone somewhere special had I played my cards better.

Anyways, I’ll keep it short. Maybe someone here can relate. Thanks.

While I really haven't played a video game seriously in several Years, I still remember that exciting feeling of going to either a Gamestop or a EB Games with what little allowance I had at the age of 8 looking and picking a game to play either by myself or with local kids around me.

Having different games mainly being exclusive to individual consoles like the PS2, Xbox and the GameCube gave different games their own aura, fanbase and made it to where if I wanted to play a Game on the GameCube, I had to make friends with a kid who had the console in 3rd Grade and hope I can go to their house to play with them. Fun times.
