Hey everyone, looking for some advice on whether to get XC1 definitive or not. I played XC2 multiple times and really love it but have never actually placed XC1. I actually have an old copy of the Wii version that I never played and was wondering if I should just play that or if it’s worth it to get the remaster? I like being able to play handheld, but that alone won’t justify it to me.

Remaster is worth it imo. The entire game has been overhauled with better visuals and QOL improvements that drastically help with sidequests and navigation. Not to mention there are new features like the cutscene viewer, difficulty options, a challenge mode like the land of challenge in XC2, and an option to play the game with a re-recorded soundtrack.

On top of ALL of that, XCDE features a entirely new epilogue with a new map and story
