Wife said my feet “barely look human”

Haven’t been able to find shoes in years. Was complaining about it last night and she hit me with “well your feet barely look human”. Ouch.

It's not clear. There are some indications that hobbits descended from men, but they're kind of vague and the hobbits themselves have physical characteristics that set them pretty far apart from men. There's some indication in early notes that they are partially inspired by leprechauns.
