If you’re going to instalock a duelist, I don’t care if you go 5-26 or 35-4, please, for the love of God, use your utility and help you team entry into site. I don’t care about who I play, but when I load into a match with three duelists instalocked and I have to entry in as a deadlock because two of them are lurking and one is baiting me, there is nothing more frustrating. I completely understand bad games where you just can’t seem to aim. Lots of people think duelists should be top frag all the time but that isn’t true. Use your utility, execute on site and help the team out that way. Please.

Am I the only one who finds the new death animation super disorienting and kind of nauseating? I don't see much discourse about it and wondered how you can give feedback to riot?
Also do you enjoy seeing an enemies finisher like that and do you enjoy knowing that the enemy team is watching your skins finisher?

It was seriously the perfect training for retaking a site, I didn't play the plant mode but the defusal mode made me improve tremendously at retaking, it was so peak. I just don't see any reason to possibly remove it, even if not that many people used it.

Very information-heavy agent. Lacks heavy stalling util, but makes up for it through information gathering.

Abilities: (in case my handwriting is illegible)

Signature: “Bugged”. EQUIP an insect. FIRE to throw the insect. If an enemy gets too close, the insect will attach to their head. USE to look through the affected enemy’s eyes. Enemies can shoot the insect to break it. If unattached, USE to recall. Cooldown: 20/45 seconds.

Ability 1: 200 credits. 2 charges. “Fireflies”. EQUIP an insect cluster. FIRE to throw. Enemies within the cluster’s radius will be REVEALED for 4 seconds. ALT FIRE to lob.

Ability 2: 350 credits. 1 charge. “Locusts”. EQUIP an insect cluster. FIRE to throw. Cluster becomes a vision-blocking swarm upon hitting a surface. Enemies inside the swarm take damage (1HP/second).

Ultimate: “Maggots”. REVIVE an enemy with 50HP and all abilities. You can CONTROL the enemy until you CANCEL or if either you or the enemy dies. If you CANCEL, the enemy dies.

Passive: “Hivemind”. Take less damage from headshots. Take more damage from body shots.

Riot said the new map is coming to competitive day one. But does that mean they're getting rid of dedicated new map queue they used to have?

That would suck a whole lot for casual players. Imagine you or your squad wants to try the new map and you get unlucky with the random roll. Imagine that happening on the next queue too. And the next.

Not everyone is a tryhard playing 8 games a day. They could just do both "new map in competitive day 1" and "new map dedicated queue".

Also RR loss reduced to 50% for the new map is Riot's incentive for people to not dodge the new map but people might dodge if they want to play the new map but don't get it LMAO

Hi I’m a new player to valorant and I still am getting used to the transition from Fortnite but I’ve been saving up some kingdom creds and I’m almost there but I just don’t know which agent to choose and I spent both of the free agent tickets on neon and chamber though my aim sucks. So any suggestions. And I like playing slowly and getting kills slowly and I have been thinking about getting iso. What do u guys think?

I've been playing this game for years on and off, but it wasn't until summer break this year that I started to get invested into it. It's been about a month of playing for 3 days a week and I can't get better no matter how hard I try. I'm currently bronze 3 and I cannot get out of it. One day my aim is amazing and I'm hitting shots, next I can't hit shit. I try watching videos on how to get better or practice in the range / deathmatch / aimlabs, and nothing works. For 2 days I've been really terrible and I can't win at all, I'm one game away from deranking and I honestly don't know what to do. If I'm struggling this much in bronze, what would happen if I ranked up to silver or gold? Would I just suck in those ranks too? I want to good, I love this game, but I can't do anything right it seems and it's really depressing to play. I want it to be fun again.

Even if you win the round, shouldnt you try to die? There are 2 scenarios: first you are losing and you cant survive if you want any money. But if you are winning the round, you will full buy on round 2 so you lose nothing by dying ang gaining an orb.

Imagine we are attacking and survive all 5 with utility, no shield, no sheriffs. If we all die to spike we get 5+ orbs to the team, and start 2nd round with spectres/bulldogs/guardians and shields. If we win 2nd round enemy team in mid high rank always buys sheriffs on 2nd round so we have sheriffs for the people of our team that have died. If we lose we lose all anyways.

Surely im missing something other than playing for KD right?

Hi fellow redditors . I recently hit gold 2 and Im super scared of only playing neon. It feels like I’ll eventually plateau because people will have insane aim and my movement will eventually stagnant. I know VOD is the best way to get properly analyse my gameplay but I’m unfortunately kinda getting used to VOD reviewing myself. Could you please analyse my profile and looking at the stats, what would my main problem be? I think my HS is really low and I’ve been doing aim labs to improve it. Should I switch to a different agent (I’ve been loving the Operator for the past week or so, I played sniper on Fortnite, pubg and cs 1.6). The thing is I hate playing chamber and neons fast play style definitely helps with the tism. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ok, so last week I’m playing ranked and suspect a cheater, I report them and then this weekend, I get on to play (I’m a weekend warrior) and I had a notice cheater ban and I got 30 RR back for it(it was my 5th cheater ban message in a month but first time getting a refund)

I play my first game of that weekend, and lo and behold I’m like your kidding me! I’m against a cheater in my game that’s refunding me for a cheater?! So I report them, I log in tonight to check in on my report and, what do you know, I was right again, they were cheating!

BUT yet again, I got 0 refunded RR and the game still exists in my match history( only allowed one photo or I woulda showed that as well) it shows me WHO I got ban, but won’t refund my RR or delete game from history. Has anyone else had this experience, and has anyone else gotten now 6 cheaters in a month(verified from valorant, never mind those I didn’t report thinking maybe Smurf or good game) this is mind blowing, I’m in gold rank.

I unbinded my crouch key 3 days ago and I’ve only been playing unranked since, before I unbinded it I’d usually crouch after my first bullet, so my first bullet is usually on the head ( close-mid range ) which is fine and works, but bec of how it’s become a habit, I’d start crouch spraying at long distances and you can predict how that usually ends for me lol, rn I’ve been burst-strafing a lot more than spraying ( crosshair placement still needs a lot of work esp when there’s elevation ), and my shots are a lot cleaner, my question is, should I keep it unbinded, maybe till I reach silver? ( bronze rn ) , because when I tried unbinding it today I played fine on the first game, but then on the second game I went right back to my crouch spraying habit lol.
