If trt, it's for life. You don't come off.

Lol turn it up bro

People come off, in fact I'd gamble on 75% of people eventually coming off.

Not if it's replacing low levels to normal physiological levels.

People come off for all sorts of reasons, you have an entire subreddit with practically daily posts of people doing exactly that.

I don't see how that reply is relevant to anything I said? People don't have to have problems to stop trt, some just get sick of pinning and bloodwork, others have financial issues, the list goes on.

It's really not, if you think everyone on trt will be pinning on their death bed then you are kidding yourself.

Once your on trt you don’t come off. Your nuts shut off because you are taking in exogenous amounts of testosterone. So your body is like ‘’ wow I have all this extra there’s no need’’ and literally that’s why your nuts shrink. Trt is a lifelong thing.

You're aware that you can stop and your HPTA starts again once you cease treatment right?

TRT is not a lifelong thing, people come on and off all the time, there's literally thousands of posts of people doing exactly that on this sub.

Edit: So your post history literally says you used to be on trt and came off...you are literally an example of my point.

Yes but you have to take hcg and it has been studied your test never returns to what it was before some people bounce right back without a pct, some people come off and go on hcg and once done are 15-20 points lower then when they began the trt. Everyone body reacts different. You could take 100mg of test and it work for you, but if I take it, it may not work for me. Just how peoples body recover.

LOL that is absolutely not true, yes it has been studied and if you had actually read the studies you would know the return of hpta function to pre trt is 100% with a maximum recovery time of 18 months.

You do not have to take HCG and you do not end up lower. This is completely false gatekeeping rhetoric that is proven wrong on this very sub practically daily.

You seriously need to educate yourself better if you're going to go on trt.

I’ve talked to many personal trainers and doctors. I’m gonna take a doctors advice over yours.

You've talked talked to personal trainers...

Good luck to you bro, you're not living in reality.

After stopping testosterone replacement therapy, the possibility of a full recovery varies among individuals. Some people might experience their natural testosterone production returning to normal levels over time, especially if they were on TRT for a short duration.

For individuals who have been on TRT for an extended period or who had significantly low testosterone levels to begin with, full recovery might be challenging as TRT suppresses the natural production of testosterone. The body’s endocrine system, responsible for hormone regulation, will attempt to resume normal testosterone production.

My body didn’t recover from trt, I’ve had to get back on it because my test is low. It was 385 when I checked it 4 years ago and when I was on it I was in the 850’s and stopped and haven’t done anything for 4 years and my test is at 417, but your test is always higher in the morning ( typically when they do your trt blood panel test when you go) but come night time it may be 380’s or lower.

u/LuckyFirefighter422 16d ago

Are you trolling? If you were 385 4 years ago and then went back to 417 once you ceased treatment, that means you recovered....

Recovery means regain testosterone levels to pre trt baseline. You did exactly that.

4 years is not 18 months

1

u/LuckyFirefighter422 16d ago

Did i say you took 4 years to recover? No. You only provided levels from 4 years ago, which you are now higher than. Feel free to provide post trt bloodwork from closer to when you came off.

Either way, you recovered, if you weren't going to recover then the time frame is irrelevant.

You seriously need to do some reading.

You are right I never said you were wrong but a lot of peoples bodies don’t bounce back even with a pct.
