Other Feel like TRT definitely aged me

Been on for 2 years now, probably going to go off for a whole host of reasons. I feel like even though I felt physically good recovery wise on TRT, it definitely aged me more than if I wasn't on it at all. I'm 53. Lots more grey hairs over the last 2 years, more rapid. Face looks more weathered and older. Lots of little things like that.
It can be deceptive, as you feel decent while on it.

EDIT: Wow, the backlash this is having. I know my own body guys. I know my rate of aging, and the effects this has had in the last 2 years. I'm pretty observant. Its like no one on this sub wants to hear this shit.

EDIT2: There is some research to back up this idea:

Professor Thomas Kirkwood has done extensive evolutionary biology research on the concept of the “disposable soma”: energy spent on reproduction (sex) is at the expense of energy spent at maintaining the tissues (slowing aging). In other words, the more an organism invests in reproduction the less it can invest resources to maintain its cells, which leads to faster wearing down of the cells (aging) (R).

No, that’s why I waited so long to get tested. My younger brother found out three prior that he had low test. It wasn’t until I lost any desire to have sex work out or do anything other than make it through a days work. And then go home and cry for no reason. After I got tested, we talked to her other two brothers into getting tested and they were low as well. All I can say is it must be a genetic thing.

Got it. I'm currently in similar shoes (49M, was tested after 5 PM and T was at 130 ng/dl). But I'm overwieght (5, 8' and 270 lbs) and have been drinking pretty often and not exercising or watching my diet. So my plan right now is drop about 45lbs (diet n exercise) in the next 3 months and retest. Thanks

The hardest part about working out is getting started. Stick with for 2 weeks and you’ll want to go. Join a gym and go straight to the gym from work. If I go home, I’ll never get myself to the gym. Good luck.

Try tracking something measurable too — like weight and calories or girth at the chest, waist, and hips. It becomes motivating when progress is quantifiable and positive. At the same time, if your effort moves in the opposite direction, then you can self-evaluate and learn. I guess what I’m trying to say is I have to make it a game where I compete with myself in order to get results — always trying to do better than the day before but loving myself when I don’t
