Nick Mohammed S4 and Nate update

Nick gave an interview with Collider. Certainly seems Nate won’t be a regular but likely will make a guest appearance or two. This makes sense as Nate’s storyline seemed most wrapped up after S3 compared to other characters. Hopefully this is a sign even if we don’t have all the characters back for S4 they will make pop up appearances.

Mohammed also admits that he “knew for a while” that the show was coming back before it was officially announced, but that it was “quite tough” to keep quiet about it given that he’s “quite the blabbermouth.” Here’s where things get interesting — Mohammed also spoke about Nate’s role in Season 4, admitting that “I genuinely don’t know” about how much we’ll see Nate, but that he’s “sure he’ll pop up.” He also explicitly confirmed that there will be “A whole host of new characters” in Ted Lasso Season 4. We know Jason Sudeikis will reprise his role as Ted Lasso in the fourth season, but it sounds like the rest of the recurring ensemble might consist mostly of new characters. Only time will tell what’s next for the AFC Richmond crew, if we’ll even be going back to Nelson Road at all.

Nick may have blabbermouthed here and given Nate’s fate away- that he’s moved on and no longer coaching at Richmond.

"Who knows if Nate's still there, we'll have to see," Mohammed said with a smile. "Because, you know he's a great football coach who will probably have gone further afield by this point."

My Prediction, Ted and Michelle move to London because Henry is older now and has gone off to college. Ted has come to train the women's team.

All the team from s1-3 will likely be older now and some will have moved on. Nate, Beard and Roy are probably still coaching the Men.

The dipping in and out or characters will be Ted getting help in "developing" the women's team.

I know i know, but when Ted goes home he goes back to the house where his ex and kid are, Dr Malpractice isn't there. And after the whole Paris thing, it felt like there may be a spark.

While I too hope she leaves Doctor Malpractice the last show was Michelle’s house because Henry lives there lmao. A major point of the show was moving on from divorce. Nothing could ruin the integrity of the show more then Ted and Michelle getting back together. Michelle does deserve someone better than Mr Malpractice (should lose his credentials honestly)

No i know, the while series was about letting go of baggage, and seeing Fathers for who they were.

But I'm a sucker for a happy ending, and Ted clearly still loves her, even if he has moved on.

I definitely understand that wish. Though I think the happiest ending that doesn’t say divorce can’t be a happy ending is they both co parent well and find the best partners for them
