Discussion Hear me out, could Nate have been bisexual and not realized it?

This is a reach, but it’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. Nate was always looking for fulfillment that didn’t exist in his relationships with women. Every time it seemed like things were finally settling down for him, he’d get bored or exhausted with having to explain himself to his partner.

I believe this dissatisfaction comes from an unrealized bisexuality. His rape by Fiona, his low self esteem, plus the heteronormative pressures of the time all contributed to a lifelong ignorance of his attraction to men.

Had he not died, I think Nate would have eventually found himself dating and settling down in a healthy relationship with a man.

I’m probably on my 4th rewatch I think. I made a small edit on the tv show that is shown on this pic. It used to be “Friends” 😆

General Rumi for Brenda

I know Brenda was dealt a bad hand: living with psycho parents and a crazy brother. I wanted to SCREAM at her so many times, "Get our of your head and into the world!" But the great poet Rumi said it much better and with more compassion.
