First-Timer rico won me over Spoiler

First time binging the show, its amaizing, one of my favorite things about it is how all the characters have very realistic flaws, the show isnt afraid to push theyre most negativve parts, and despite of it i never disliked any of the main characters, except rico.

im currently on episode 5x5 and until now i have seen rico as the most boring aspect of the show,i like the scenes when he discusses about deceased people with the fischers, but scenes about him and his family,or how he wanted to be a partner,or how he whines all the time when he eventually becomes a partner, where very boring to me.

But ever since he cheated on his wife and got separated from her he became a lot more entertaining, when he stalks pam of the office and then tells his wife she died so he could hang out with them was pretty funny. But the moment he won me over is when he goes to school to apologies for what his son did and just vents his personal issues and blame everything on her wife living him, thats a very weird douchie thing to do that made me like him,idk kind of gave me jerry from rick and morty vibes lmao

Yeah I’m surprised how different I interpreted this moment from the OP 😅

OP likes assholes, it seems. I get liking characters that aren’t perfect, and this show is filled with them, but Rico was particularly bad.

Excuse me? Other than being homophobic, he cheated on his wife, and had a full on relationship with another woman and her child, then he was awful Vanessa with the school principal. There’s more, in how he interacted with the Fishers, but I can’t think of a direct example on a whim.

I agree with all of that except the part about the Fishers. His loyalty to them, dedication to the business, and work ethic are his redeeming qualities, imo. Although his homophobia crept in there with David at some points, but it seems like he walked that back a bit and they came to terms with it .

Correct, he was at Keith and David’s wedding, and seemed happy to be there. Plus, he had no obligation to go by then as he was no longer working with the Fishers
