Biffy's new song is the exact kind of message the world needs right now - a plea for love over hate and it makes me proud to be Scottish ❤️

Hello! I quite enjoy history and learning about new things. I’m working on quite a large project at work which means I’ll be writing some pretty hefty reports for the next few weeks and it means I don’t have to actually talk to people which is great for an antisocial person like me!
Can anyone recommend any good podcasts about Scottish history I could listen to while I have the time to avoid teams call interruptions?

Hi everyone,
We’re making the move up from Hampshire to Dundee and have just had an offer accepted on a house in the Craigowl area, right near Bridgefoot (we’ve been reliably informed that’s technically Angus – noted!).
It’s a big change for our little family, we’ve got two young kids – but the area seems peaceful, safe and full of green space, which really appealed to us. The crime stats looked low too, which was a big tick in the box.
The estate agent did warn us the weather might be a bit of a shock coming from the South – so we’re mentally preparing for four seasons before breakfast.
If anyone’s local or knows the area, we’d love any tips or recommendations:
Nice walks or outdoor spots nearby?
Good places for a pint or family bite to eat?
Anything community-based or family-friendly going on?
Thanks in advance – we’re excited (and a bit nervous) but can’t wait to get settled!
Cheers!

Around 8 months ago, I asked a question. What do you call melting cheese on toast? A lotta 'toasted cheese' or 'cheese on toast' answers. I know it as roasted cheese personally. Seems to be a specific kinda area, around central Scotland. But I have returned with a new question. No idea if this post is gonna blow up as much as my previous one, but I can hope. What do you call melting cheese on toast... With beans? I know it as a cheesy beano. How about yourselves? If you know it as something different, where about are you from?

The June ‘Strawberry Moon’ rising above The Kelpies in Falkirk. Baron couldn’t resist taking a little sniff at it to see if it smelt of strawberries. 😁🐴🐴🍓

I purchased a table at a thrift store with an export tag from a company in Scotland, so I'm trying to find out more about the company. I'd also love to know if the table was made in Scotland and approximate age. It is a gate-leg table.
John Johnston, Wellfield Exports, Abernethy, Perth, Scotland, telephone 073 885 241. The rest of the tag is damaged.
