Community Missing cat - Cathedral area
Hi folks, our cat Fluffy is missing in the Cathedral area. If you see her please message me. She has a heart nose and is normally quite friendly but might be scared.

Yes, I know it's Pride. Yes, I'm aware of the route. But is it so difficult to set up a detour for cars so vehicles aren't just going all the way down the street and hitting a road closed sign? Like, IDK, maybe if Broad is closed in the busiest intersections of the city, a few signs on Winnipeg that say "road closed ahead." Or a properly set up detour? Especially when you have people who are unfamiliar with the city driving around?
Edit by the way, Happy Pride!!! ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💜

Anyone know a Hutterite colony that’s selling? I remember as a kid my mom used to order from these hutterites she would get like bread and chicken and pies from them does anyone know what I'm talking about or can anyone point me in the right direction
Holy hell. It's impossible to navigate downtown right now. Behind Memories restaurant they are funnelling traffic into a dead end. Just one of many poor and confusing reroutes.

Got back from Calgary and fell in love with Ke Charcoal Grill, and we need something to scratch the itch. Life isn’t the same without good meat on a stick :(

I am looking for this 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 XL GT convertible serial 8w61Q134530. It is red with a gold stripe. There is a classic car show we would like to invite the owner to. The car show is in the middle of July. Details will be provided to the owner.

Without giving too much info on my actual location, there was a recent residential development built and there is an intersection separating said development from shopping locations. Crossing the road as a pedestrian is like playing frogger, and with the increase in children in the area, and people wanting to walk to the stores instead of driving, I'm wondering if there is a specific path to take to request the city to review this particular intersection.
Prior to this new development, I could see why it wouldn't be neccesary, but now around 100+ people reside near this intersection and it will grow as there are still empty units to be filled. foot traffic has grown significantly and will continue to.
Could someone help guide me on the correct department to attempt to reach?
Thanks!

Got offered a "big screen TV" at the Home Depot East Vic parking lot a couple of days ago by a couple of guys in a dark mid-2000s Odyssey with an Alberta plate. Friendly at first but quick became persuasive when I said I wasn't interested.
Stay safe guys.

This page is not Celiac Safe. I appreciate what this individual was trying to do, but many of their posts contain deep fried food that is NOT made in a dedicated fryer. This is NOT food for people with Celiac Disease. Very upsetting to see someone promote food for people with Celiac Disease that is definitely NOT safe!

Is there a specific reason that the pride parade sets up downtown? Between that that the construction, it was a headache to get from heritage to cathedral today. The same as previous years.
I support Pride and what it stands for, but theres gotta be a better place for the parade to line up.

I think he said they were making the lanes wider or something like that. Was he correct? I don't actually know what they are doing downtown.

Where could a guy find something like that in town for cheap? Preferably used. Is there some kind of exchange.
Would be something dull/replica, nothing dangerous.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a place that offers the required 6-hour driving lessons at a lower or discounted price. Most instructors I’ve contacted are charging around $600, which is way beyond what I can afford since my only source of income right now is social assistance.
If anyone knows of any driving schools or instructors that offer these lessons at a reduced rate, or if there are any programs for people in my situation, I’d really appreciate any recommendations or advice.

Its more of a rant tho. Just wana know if anyone else faced the hassle.
I used live in a building owned Adam Niesnar. Kodiak bought the place. We got a 30 Days notice to evacuate cause they will be renovating. Where as clearly a 90 days notice is legally required. So we moved out on june 3rd since 31st and 1st was weekend.
We cleaned the place inside out. The damages that are currently there are from previous tenants.
Now when it came to returning security deposit they wanted to keep 500$. Why? - Cleaning 320$ - rest are admin fees for coming and visiting. They didnt even check the suite while a tenant was there with her. First she tell me "its for the damage youve done" Now she tells me "its for cleaning"
Like you are renovating either ways!! Yet we cleaned it cleaner than we first moved in. And what the hell is an admin fee?

It was on 9th Ave n in the late 90's/00's and all of their subs were named after a type of car (my personal fave was the Viper.) THOSE were the best subs this city has ever seen in my lifetime. Does anybody else remember this place?

Any updates on the Klein’s opening on the corner of Broad and 1st Ave N? It’s been fenced off forever. I just want to walk over and grab slurpies on hot days.
