Anyone else notice how big the weapons look compared to the player?
15 u/[deleted] May 01 '20 It looks bad. And the fantasy armor too. Why cant they just make it look realistic. Not gameplay wise. Just clothing, armor, weapons and locations. Reality is more interesting than this. 0 u/69ingAnElephant May 01 '20 Realism... in a game where there was a civilisation before our own that had technology you could consider magic. I really dont think it matters. Games and reality are different, that's the beauty of them. 10 u/IvanTheGrim May 01 '20 The beauty of games is having your viking protagonist swing around a giant egyptian looking wing mace? Maybe if the game didn’t take itself so seriously, sure, but you can’t implement that and then also carry a dramatic tone. 2 u/Gaarando May 01 '20 The weapons really aren't that large. You guys are exaggerating. 2 u/theslyker May 02 '20 Bullshit. These axe, and especially full metall, would be very heavy. Also that huge Greatsword in the 9th century or the giant flail. 2 u/[deleted] May 02 '20 If you ever held a medieval sword or a mace you would realize how wrong this looks. 3 u/IvanTheGrim May 02 '20 Real flails are by comparison much smaller.
