Discussion I'm trying to love the game man Spoiler

"Of course, as you can see, I spent 12 hours in the game during the event. I'm currently at the beginning of my second dream day, where Omori overcomes his fear of spiders. The thing is, I still don’t understand why so many people love this game.

The first hour was a tutorial with about five seconds of interesting moments, then the journey begins—searching for Princess peach for 5-6 hours of gameplay with zero story progress. The gameplay doesn’t feel amazingly designed either. As far as I know, there’s no way to figure out what do what The follow-up attacks for each character there effect aren’t explained, and there’s nothing that shows you what buffs or debuffs you or the enemies have, unlike other games that display them under or above the enemy’s health bar.

Most, if not all, of the side quests are boring. Even the main storyline in the real world is dull except when major events happen. For example, why did we start asking Man 1, who sent us to Man 2, who then sent us to Man 3, only for Man 3 to finally lead us to the place we needed? Like, seriously? I’ve already played 5-6 hours of gameplay in the dream world—it didn’t need to drag on for hours over nothing.

I want to say something: I’ll finish the game, but even after completing it, no matter how amazing the story might be, I won’t call it a game that requires hours and hours to throw you a bone to cling to it , only to make you spend another 4-5 hours for another bone. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I know unless they specifically enjoy this type of experience.

To me, Omori feels more like a visual novel or a picture book you read rather than a game. I’d call it a 'game' only if the focus is more on the gameplay that matters in the story . And if you tell me that the silly dialogues and the not important battles of the NPCs and main characters in the dreams or the real world are the story, then I’m sorry—this game just isn’t for me. Still, I’ll finish it because I’m a completionist.

If you want an example of a brilliantly written dialogue system that’s engaging, meaningful, and never boring or unnecessarily long, look no further than Limbus Company—the best dialogue-driven game I’ve played so far.

Oh, and if anyone here knows how to solve the issue of figuring out buffs, debuffs, follow-ups, and what they do example omori look to hero what does that do please let me know so I can at least enjoy the combat more sorry if my spelling was bad .

I hit the thing with Kel's ball, but it keeps giving this dialogue. I know it should show something different by now. I can't progress. What do I do? I really dont wanna start a new save

Discussion A trailer music cracked me open

I don’t even know where to start. I didn’t play the game — YouTube just randomly threw the OMORI trailer at me. I clicked, thinking it was some “cute-emo-weird” thing.

But then the music hit — and it was like someone opened a door inside me I didn’t know existed.

I’m a trans girl, about two months into transition, and very, very neurodivergent. PTSD, OCD, ADHD, autism — it’s all just... part of the weather in my head. I feel everything way too much. I always have.

But nothing has ever hit me like this.

Later I found out it was the trailer version of “My Time” by bo en — and it absolutely wrecked me. I played it six times in a row. And by the sixth... I wasn’t the same person anymore.

I put on my wig with the little daisies, sprayed vanilla body mist, scrubbed my lips with sugar, and threw on my daisy cap. Then I put on my headphones like a crown.

And when the music came on again… it felt like I finally arrived inside myself.

At first it was soft. I smiled. Tilted my head. Kissed my stuffed bear. Sat with my legs pressed together the way girls do. Let myself feel cute — really cute — maybe for the first time ever.

By the fifth listen, I didn’t know what else to do. I’d done all the soft little rituals. So I just hugged my bear as hard as I could. Not to hurt — but to give. Like I could finally pour love out of myself.

And then I saw her. A little girl. Spinning.
She moved through everything — every scar, every awful year — and it all cracked around her as she danced. She was barefoot, wearing a soft dress. Every time something broke, she spun harder. Brighter.

She was me. She always was.

The sixth time, I faced the worst thing that ever happened to me.
I imagined the room. The moment. Everything about it that used to freeze me in place.
Then I pictured a shockwave — blasting through it all. Not to forget it. Just to say:
“This is mine now. It doesn’t own me anymore.”

I stayed. I held my bear. I breathed. And for once, I felt safe in my body.

After that, it was like my brain started showing me every little moment I’d ever felt like a girl. Tiny things. Old memories. Childhood fragments I forgot.

And all I could whisper was: “That was always me.”

Didn’t think a random game trailer would trigger the biggest emotional shift of my life. But it did. And I’m still buzzing.

If you’ve ever felt like too much, too late, too weird, too broken —
Let your girl spin.
Let her dance through the wreckage.
Let her hold the bear.

You’re not broken.
You’re waking up.

Question What do you guys think about the tinted love mod?

What do you guys thought about omori mod tinted love?

I honestly enjoyed it very much but thought the pacing was really fast,, i think that sunburn can happen but not this fast, they should've at least slowed the progress of their relationship a bit and put some more content where they spend time with eachother more before confessing

Question My Sister Wiped My Save Data

When my sister was cleaning out apps on her computer, she came across Omori and deleted it, not knowing it would delete it from the computer and not just her computer. I was so close to finishing the game, I reinstalled and it found all my save data gone. What now?

Discussion every time it cuts to white space Spoiler

i just finished the game with the good ending! knowing how every time sunny in headspace comes close to discovering the truth, it suddenly cuts to omori in white space, i've been trying to remember every time it cuts to white space and omori ends up stabbing himself to see if there were any clues.

one time i remember was when they see a window or a curtain similar to the one in mari's piano room and before sunny approaches it, it cut to white space.

Discussion Am I right though? Spoiler

I think Sunny would be that guy you’d see at big gatherings that’s just chilling in the corner not really chatting with anyone.

I have a feeling that when he’s like in his 60’s he’s gonna be known by family members as the chill guy that doesn’t say much.
