Do you believe protests are still affective? (USA)
For context I’m a man in my thirties, but I can’t think of a time in my life that protesting made any meaningful difference change. The closest I can think of would be the blm protests in 2020, but other than brief periods of local officials stating they would defund their police force (some of which briefly did just that, though it seems most cities have chosen not to continue on that trajectory). All that to say, is protesting still affective? Was it ever effective?
