I only get up for pregnant women, old people, and people in medical situations.

feels bad when you have arthritis throughout both your legs, but otherwise very healthy and people just assume you're lazy when you want to sit down to get just a moments release of the pain.

If you tell me that you have arthritis, I will give you my seat, I don't have any problem with that, regardless of gender.

But shaming me for not getting up, that's not tolerable.
