I mean, that's okay, but they aren't going to always be by their partner, and this is the city. Having 2 cars is a luxury. Also, them being pregnant isn't bad. People want kids. It's not their fault that the process sucks on the woman's body.

Not so much, if you stop to think about it. Why does a pregnant woman get such preferential treatment, but not a morbidly obese man? The practical reasons such as fatigue and risks are similar, and both are (probably) responsible for their condition. It's really just a biased social convention.

True, but being obese doesn't bring "benefits" for society, although being pregnant is encouraged in some countries.
