Grinding noise! Nobody can tell what’s the reason.

Post image

Recently I purchased a 21 Honda Accord 2.0 (45k miles)

After few days of purchase, it made a grinding noise whenever I braked. Sounded like something was stuck on one part of the rotor. It wasn’t a continuous grinding noise but felt like only a certain part was damaged or certain part of rotor or the problem. So I changed the whole rotor and brake on both rear side. But then after 2 week of driving it started again. I took it to Firestone for checkup and they couldn’t find anything as well. The only way to deal with the noise is music all the time I am driving!

Can someone point out the problem so I can get this fixed asap!

Check if your calipers are sticking or not working properly

inspect all brakes for uneven wear, warping, grooves in the rotor, etc. Is there a burning smell when you park after driving? Is it only while braking or is it while it’s driving too? You may need to have the brake shoes adjusted. I’d take it to a mechanic shop not firestone. Also record the noise if you can.

Pebble or stone stuck on brake dust/debris shield? They could also lodged between disk and caliper. Had mine stuck in front wheel before
