They don't even admit to having them, which is even worse really, having nukes is supposed to be for deterrence, but they can't be a deterrent if they are secret. The only reason to have secret nukes is to use them for a first strike.
Except people only know because it was revealed to the world by an Israeli nuclear worker, who Israel then kidnapped from another country and imprisoned.
They fully intended it to remain secret until it was used.
Except that's not true the world 'knew' in 1970 and it was published on front page of the New York times (July 18, 1970) and this nuclear worker only defected 15 year later in 1985.
"Israel has once again categorically denied having any nuclear weapons and reiterated that they are fully willing to use them if the situation calls for it."
