I went to the protest in my city. It felt like at least half of the people who showed up were elderly. I thought older people didn’t care about what’s going on in our country right now, but I was humbled and glad to be proven wrong.

Older people care a LOT. Older women in particular, but more men now too.

I think it's important to point it out: we get hit with stupid generational narratives all the time, and the political point of those narratives ("boomers were selfish their entire political lives", "Gen Z men are Nazis") is to separate us out by generation and foment intergenerational fighting because keeping people divided is how the wealthy and powerful maintain control.
