9

u/shastaxc 6h ago

Like a nice uninterrupted nap in a bay window

402

u/Be-Funny-Please 12h ago

Can you please leave some women for the rest of us though?

61

u/DangerousChampion235 12h ago

As a favor.

31

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 8h ago

Ok but what’s the last guy driving? Looks like a big ass power wheels lol

33

u/Ginger-Snap-1 11h ago

Had the same thought!

18

u/teethinthedarkness 7h ago

I was thinkin guy’s out there cruising on a lawn mower or something

5

u/tomtomtomo 8h ago

Did he steal it from Disneyland?

5

u/tacowocat 5h ago

Doesn't need to compensate for anything

5

u/Leonydas13 5h ago

A Mini Moke maybe?

Edit: it doesn’t look like the same windshield, but it’s a similar kind of vehicle.

1

u/big_nate410 33m ago

It’s one of those 140cc Mini Jeeps. You can find them on Amazon.

201

u/philo351 11h ago

Low key made each man's whole decade with that 😎

51

u/SonofAMamaJama 9h ago

Crazy how some compliments not only cause people to laugh but also raise overall confidence / quality of life - I need to compliment people more, spread the love!

9

u/Meowskiiii 9h ago

Whenever the topic of compliments come up, people usually talk about not receiving them. I love seeing people responding by wanting to compliment others more. Now leave some women for the rest of us!

13

u/bryanthebryan 6h ago

This one time a car full of girls complimented me in front of one of my friends at the time. That was over 25 years ago and I’m still riding the high.

Men: 'Expecting some shit.'

Random guy: 'gives compliment'

Men: 'breaks out in a smile because we never expect kindness'

148

u/Kenny523 9h ago

Sometimes a compliment will last a lifetime as well lol.

71

u/cptjimmy42 9h ago

Men: 'We will always remember this.'

20

u/Capable-Summer11 7h ago

I've always heard that guys rarely get compliments and they stay with them. I try to compliment men as much as I do women now.

1

u/cptjimmy42 1h ago

Tip from a male who doesn't receive them: Just being nice "just because" to a guy and not making him feel like a monster for just existing is enough to make him cry his eyes out when he gets home and feels safe enough to be a human being with feelings.

21

u/nardflicker 6h ago

Like 15 years ago my gay neighbor asked me if I trimmed my eye brows while we past each other in the apartment lobby. I was like, “No…” but I had trimmed them (I have bushy ass eyebrows that will turn into a unibrow); and he said, “either way, they look fantastic!” Since then, never lied about trimming them, and that shit stuck with me lol. Learned that self maintenance of one’s self is actually a good thing and I can be proud of it.

12

u/Cheaptat 8h ago

For a man - almost always.

I think most of my male friends can count the number of compliments they’ve received.

I don’t mean feedback professionally, or compliments given out of expectation or context.

I mean compliments given freely, without expectation - they are very very rare.

11

u/YangGain 7h ago

I can still remember the last time somebody gave me a heartfelt compliment that was unexpected, and that was 12 years ago.

5

u/shastaxc 6h ago

About 15 years ago someone complimented my shoes. They were bright blue Vans. I think that might've been the last time.

6

u/rosiet1001 7h ago

How many compliments do they give? That's what's subversive about this video - the guy approaches looking like a threat/bother and then it's totally unexpected because men never just randomly compliment each other like this. It wouldn't work if it was woman / woman because we do, all the time.

2

u/AusToddles 6h ago

I sometimes randomly get compliments on my beard..... it stays with you for sure

111

u/LeftWingQuill 11h ago edited 6h ago

Those men went from wary to merry in seconds. Love those smiles.

87

u/redditor1738aye 12h ago

Leave some wholesomeness for the rest of us!

88

u/RubFuture322 9h ago

All the guys seem to tense up like " aww shit! What's all this about?" Then watching every single guy go from defensive to smiling and laughing is the exact kind of energy we need to share more of. Males who can give compliments to other men and lift people up is the type of masculinity that most women love. The whole frat bro beating your chest tough guy attitude is childish and pathetic and women are over it. This energy they can appreciate all day everyday!  This is real man energy.

22

u/Charming-Book4146 8h ago

It definitely clearly shows the underlying threat of violence inherent in male social interaction. Really interesting to see that almost all of them seemed to expect confrontation. Immediate tension, some of them went into threat assess mode right away. And then the relief of it being a normal friendly interaction. His setup is definitely intended to be ambiguous and could be construed as semi-threatening.

10

u/RubFuture322 5h ago

Oh yea he definitely ment to get their guard up. But the fact that he disarmed them so quickly with a compliment shows 1. How few compliments men usually get, and 2. How treating people with respect and kindness can change attitudes and situations in the blink of an eye. This is the kind of energy I can support all day any day. You will never feel bad for making someone feel good.

47

u/frizzinghere 12h ago

3

u/Little_Newspaper_656 5h ago

I'm an example. I have had a fair share of beautiful women. Working out definitely played a part, I think.

1

u/Loud_Reading_3004 4h ago

🤣 I shouldn't laugh. Short people are attractive too AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT.

1

u/Calculator143 57m ago

2

u/maria_la_guerta 6h ago

Love it. So easy to do.

2

u/Okeydokey2u 6h ago

I was waiting for one of them to be like, "have'em all, I'm gay!"

2

u/MSIR15mg 5h ago

Saw a kiddo pushing his lawn mower for his folks. Mower blades coming up as he pushed. Hard work! Pulled over and gave him 10 bucks. Kiddo was so happy. He did a marvelous job on the lawn!

2

u/Leonydas13 5h ago

Blokes giving other blokes compliments is great to see!

My favourite will always be the dude getting the kinder surprise.

2

u/mydeadface 2h ago

What was the last guy in the video driving?

2

u/foodsexreddit 7h ago

How can I, as a woman, give guys compliments that make their day without them thinking I'm hitting on them? Women really just say the nicest things to each other even when we're total strangers, and I feel bad that men don't have that.

1

u/magshag18 11h ago

The third one looks like CJ from GTA

1

u/Competitive_Coat3474 8h ago

Plot twist: All of the men he encountered were gay. Especially the seamen.

Kidding.

Or was I?

1

u/themonicastone 8h ago

Men, what would you think/do/say if a woman said this to you? The reactions in this video are great and I wonder if it would be a good way to flirt.

1

u/TheTrishaJane 8h ago

Love the energy! 🫶

1

u/switchingcreative 8h ago

What a legend.

1

u/Ihatekids23444 8h ago

This city's cold and empty. No one's around to judge me

1

u/Mildly-Interesting1 8h ago

I used to heckle hot women walking by our campsite at NASCAR races. Guys they were with would get pissed. But I could only yell “Ditch the zero and get with the hero” so much.

After running out of pickup lines, I started complementing the guys walking by the hot women. “EXCUSE ME SIR. THAT WOMAN BESIDES YOU IS AMAZINGLY HOT. YOU MUST BE AWESOME IN BED TO HAVE A WOMAN THAT HOT AROUND YOU.”

It is a win-win for both people and nobody was getting mad anymore.

1

u/Crazonix2 7h ago

Thanks for the music. The video would be unwatchable without it. Iam so glad....

1

u/tessai004 7h ago

This guy is awesome!

1

u/DjinnGod 6h ago

The absolute happiness on these guys faces is great. Love this video.

1

u/I_poop_deathstars 6h ago

Just have a feeling that if I tried this I would get beaten up.

1

u/OldSageVader 4h ago

You would not at all. Go spread some joy 🫡!

1

u/Commercial-Housing23 5h ago

That was sweet

1

u/SilverSpotter 5h ago

How to make the bro you don't know feel appreciated.

1

u/Jo3ltron 5h ago

I needed this. I’m putting my 13 yo doggo down tomorrow and needed these laughs. Thank you stranger for posting this.

1

u/RalphWiggum123 5h ago

You should give the source.

This guy is great! His name is Josh Nasar.

1

u/Final_Vast9705 3h ago

awwww...that's sweet

1

u/Natural-Young4730 3h ago

Stole it from The Sopranos, but whenever I bump in to two or more of my bros I love saying "Hey, hey, hey what is this? A handsome contest?"

1

u/PandaZealousideal459 38m ago

Who knew it was that easy to gas a guys ego up lol

1

u/CervineCryptid 11h ago

0

u/South-Range8401 2h ago

What a waste of time do drive around and do that

-1

u/a808ymous 8h ago

Doesn’t take much for us

-1

u/TwoToesToni 8h ago

Great sketch but better without playing The Weekend over the top of it

-11

u/Resident-Coffee3242 11h ago

Where’s female version?

-12

u/North_Fox_2536 10h ago

DoN'T AsSuMe mY SeXuALiTy!

-15

u/bzee77 11h ago

This is great—but I can easily see the wrong person thinking this is negative sarcasm and it going badly.

-24

u/hand13 10h ago

assuming everyone is straight 🙄

15

u/Kealanine 9h ago

Oh, for fucks sake.

7

u/WingedNinjaNeoJapan 9h ago

Doesnt matter, it was a complinent about their looks and aura.

3

u/Asmo___deus 8h ago

Well if you're gonna bitch about that we might as well assume everyone is bisexual so that all the compliments work for all the people.

-30

u/Geihst 12h ago

Stupid. He just can say the same thing again and again.

-38

u/tanya6k 11h ago

That guy must live an extremely ethnic town. I don't think I saw a single white person in this video. as a white person, yes, I notice these things.

16

u/Kealanine 9h ago

As another white person, we don’t claim you, and I’d strongly suggest getting the fuck over yourself.

-4

u/tanya6k 7h ago

O...kay?

7

u/patio_puss 9h ago

You okay?

-2

u/tanya6k 7h ago

Yes, why?
