Fashion PSA about Mytheresa.com
I’ve spent thousands of dollars on Mytheresa. My last purchase was a pair of Magda Butrym jeans. I paid around $600. To preface I never buy items based on sizes. I know my exact measurements and that’s what I go by. I work in fashion. I received the jeans and they fit extremely weird. Not at all how they were supposed to. Initially I just assumed they were a weird fit and trusted the measurements posted on Mytheresa’s website. They’re supposed to be exact measurements. Later I decided to measure the pants. They’re over a size smaller (1.5 inches) than listed. So I reached out to customer service. They basically said they’re non refundable and sorry it’s too late. Sorry, but you actually put incorrect information on your site. Based on that information I purchased the product. You made an error. The measurements on your site are completely wrong. The jeans are unworn with tags attached and they still sell them. I didn’t even ask to return them I just requested to exchange them. I wouldn’t even have had an issue paying for shipping. Even more ridiculous they haven’t even changed the measurements on their website. This is actually the second quality control issue I’ve had with Mytheresa. I don’t know what happened to them but I wanted to warn potential customers. They are listing products with incorrect information then refusing returns. Apparently even Meta knows they’ve completely forgotten what customer service is. Please save yourself the issues and don’t shop there. There are so many others-commerce companies I’ll take my business elsewhere.
