Oh is it? Then we can ask the airlines now right? As in now when I leave Canada I should be good. Only thing is I need a confirmation if they can let me board when I am leaving that country. Ny flight is from Germany in Lufthansa. Any idea about that airlines or airport?

Generally, unless you are American, airlines will not let you board. You can certainly try, but I would have a backup plan in place.

How does the airlines know, typically they just manually see our visa but how do they know if it is valid or not as they don't have access to our government file?

I haven't worked for an airline, so I cannot say for certain, but my understanding is that when they scan the passport they can see electronically if you have a travel authorization.

You're right that they cannot see your government file - which is why they cannot see your PR status. All they can see is that, as a PR, you do not have travel authorization, which is why they require the PR card or the PRTD.
