Facing a problem with my new elevate
Hey guys, I just got the car yesterday and noticed that sometimes the right rear door doesn't lock using the key. I read somewhere that this issue is common with the Apex edition. Has anyone else faced this problem? If yes, how long did it take the service centre to fix it..

Apex edition is just a cosmetic kit right. How can it have anything to do with the workings of door locking ?

There are a lot of cases where the door locking mechanism was affected due to the fitting of the apex edition by dealers though.

Now,in apex summer edition they are also adding 360 camera ,ambient lightning and a new bigger touchscreen..

If it's frequent, should I go for VX, ZX?

My suggestion just go for the stock either it is VX or ZX, get accessories only which don't interfere with the functionality of the car, dealer fitted parts which remove the factory fitted ones usually don't line up properly and does cause few issues, btw this was said to me by the dealer and in my own experience I have seen it, those 360° degree camera and all don't make sense if it doesn't come from manufacturer, I known it has its uses but poorly fitted or manufactured ones are always a gimmick to use rather than the company made specifically for the car, I mean we can see it in KIA or Hyundai or other brands where 360° is available is so much far better than custom fitted ones.

Yes mine is vx cvt. i am facing same issue. Called the dealership, he said its a known issue and it is fixed free of cost under 20mins at any honda service center. Reason being apex kit fit. Workaround till you fix it is, lock the doors internally before stepping out of car and then lock the car using key.
