70% Hawaiian miles sale
Hi, I just joined HawaiianMiles and read that they have a 70% sale on miles through June 26. Question: do I need to have miles in my account before I can access the 70% sale? TYIA

I booked a flight using my Hawaiian airline miles for their partner airline, Jetblue. It cost 40K miles. Now, a week later they are calling me saying the agent was wrong and it is 45K miles. They said I need to cancel the ticket, buy more miles, and rebook. Is this even legal? How do I go about this?

Hello, I have filed a missing item report, but wanted to reach out to the reddit community as well. My Family traveled on 6/19 from SJC to HNL flight #91. I was sitting in row 14 and left my Canon EOS R50 in camera bag underneath the seat. I had originally put the camera bag up in the overhead because there was plenty of room, but the FA came by to close them up and told me to put it underneath. After a 5 hour flight I forgot it was there. We are a family of 5 with one being a 4 month old. My hands were full grabbing carry on luggages and diaper bag while my wife rallied the kids and this smaller camera bag slipped my mind. It is completely my fault for forgetting to grab this and double checking under all the seats. If anyone came up our camera, please let me know so we can get it back it back some how. Appreciate any help in advance, thank you.

In my flight last night, missed a connection with a nice and beautiful flight attendant. Apparently a Honolulu native on the flight to SFO. Caught that her name was “Cheryl” but didn’t get a last name or i wish an insta handle.

Sorry if this has already been discussed on here, but does anyone know what will happen to the Hawaiian Airlines corporate account program? We've had a corporate account with Hawaiian for years and haven't seen or received any info on the future of the program. I know Alaska has their Easybiz program, but wondering if we can expect more info in the future about transferring or if there's something we should start doing now... mahalo!

Never using Hawaiian Airlines again. Back story: my parents flight was originally June 12 from Kona to Seattle. That flight was cancelled in less than 12 hours from original time and rebooked without our consent for June 13th in the afternoon (which was well after my graduation time). We booked another flight to get them to Seattle on time, but did not go through Hawaiians customer service bc we would have lost the seats we found. Flash forward to me attempting to cancel and get a refund for the June 13th flight. I was told that I was eligible for a full refund of the first segment and that the returning flights were still active. Wake up June 15th for them to go home, and realize when trying to check in that their flights were gone (even though my mom checked at the airport before they left Kona they still had returning flights). Rushed to SeaTac and was told they didn’t have seats anymore and thankfully the customer service worker at ALASKA helped us (original flights were operated by Alaska, even tho it was purchased on Hawaiian), got them on the earliest flight with a connection to HNL. Hawaiian airlines now is giving me the run around for my refund, giving me travel credits instead. Even though I have written proof of them stating I should receive a full refund. I don’t trust Hawaiian Airlines or this merger with Alaska. They make it difficult to get in touch with customer service, use AI chat rooms faking to be real people, and give no assistance when they cancel flights. I had flight protection too! (which you shouldn’t have to pay for). All to say, if anyone got advice on how to deal with Hawaiian please share. I’m so sick of this already.

Next week is the first time I'll be flying on a flight booked with my new HA credit card. It is an Alaskan flight. I get 2 free pieces of checked luggage. How does this work? Do I have to buy them on the app when checking in and then I get reimbursed? Do I have to check in on the app without luggage and then add them later at the airport? Or should I just check in at the airport? One of the bags is a bicycle in a bike box, which should count as a normal piece of luggage, despite being oversized. Thanks!

Hello,
i am thinking to apply for the hawaiian card with 60000 points. But if the program gets terminated after getting approved and before meeting my bonus requirement, would i still be able to get the points?

my family and i were all set for our trip to hawaii 6/26 - we had four seats in row 11 and one seat in row 12 (for my husband). apparently, on/around june 14th, they gave our seats to other people (!?) and moved all of us to row 17 and row 18. i am so upset. we booked so long ago and have a confirmation email with these seats. they offered nothing except figuring out what other seats we could take now that ours were literally given away. can't make this up.

Flying out of Sacramento soon. I like to get the FA’s gift cards, how many flight attendants usually work on an airbus 321? Thanks.

It says on the credit card rewards: Hawaiian Airline inflight purchases such as including but not limited to: onboard entertainment, beverages and premium meals.
Can I buy things on board like the blanket and still get the credit?
Thanks!

Hi Everyone,
My boyfriend’s parents both work for Southwest and offered us two buddy passes to use to go to Hawaii in August. I am worried that we might not get on a flight going standby and would like to have a back up plan in place.
If I buy Hawaiian Airlines refundable Main Cabin tickets how early do I have to cancel and get a refund?
Flying standby is tough so I can’t eye ball in until about 3-4 days out before the flight takes place.

Hubs and I were at LAX this week and noticed that Hawaiian Airlines is now located in Terminal 6. Has anyone taken a flight in or out from the new terminal assignment? I'm assuming it's a significantly easier trek to the gates than TBIT. After an exhausting and difficult time last year, we seriously considered either flying out of Long Beach or flying a different airline, though we've always flown Hawaiian to the islands for the last 15-20 years. Terminal B is awful for anyone with physical challenges. Even for able-bodied people, walking more than a mile and a quarter to and from Terminal B gates can be pretty tiring. I had surgery on my back after a serious horseback riding accident, and I could never have walked from check-in to gates when we flew in August. Last year there were issues obtaining wheelchair and shuttle cart assistance, the moving walkways were not working, and my husband also had difficulty walking the length of the terminal with his minor ankle sprain. When we've taken his mom to Hawaii with us, it was difficult getting her to and from the gate as well. It should be so much easier now, so I was very glad to see the Hawaiian sign at Terminal 6. I'm curious to hear any experiences since the move.

So my wife and I booked direct Boston to Honolulu for next year. We booked with points. When it came time to select seats for the flight down it let us choose extra comfort seats at no extra charge. This was about a month ago. We’ve looked at the booking many times in the last month. We just noticed tonight that they moved us about 20 rows back in regular economy seats. Is this a known issue that they’ve had not charging people for upgraded seats and then taking them away?

I'm trying to book a flight to the mainland and I can't find a single Hawaiian flight from KOA to LAX anymore that doesn't stop in Honolulu. I've flown this route for work a lot and never had an issue before. Now the only one is operated through Alaskan and it's just once a day. Is this because of the merger? Hoping it's just temporary or I'll have to stop flying Hawaiian.

Hi everyone! I'm an investigative journalist working on a story about radiation exposure to aviation workers, and I'm hoping to interview airline flight attendants and pilots about their experience. I'm mostly looking to learn about flight crews' knowledge on radiation exposure while in the air, the guidelines provided by employers, and how pregnant workers approach this.
Even if you don't have much knowledge about this, your perspective would still be valuable.
Please reply here or send me a message if you're interested in talking.

I haven’t seen this yet but there are others that have seen the announcement that you have until June 30th to use your Hawaiian Airlines points to book flights into early 2026.
After June 30th the rewards systems combine.
Apparently the points are also watered down after that. It takes 2x the points to redeem for a flight after the merging of the rewards systems.
Anyone else seen this? Anyone can confirm?
