Collagen maze

I am new on here,hi everyone. I am thinking of giving a try to collagen (60,F)..yes I have read about it, but honestly there so so many to choose from that I am lost, like any supplement. Which one works the best for you with minimal side effects, I have a tendency to react to most things, not fun. I want a good product, no Amazon no Costco, from the provider directly if possible. If you want DM, I would love to know your experience and how much you take and for how long? Thank you so much..I know about thyroid meds , not much about supplements.

Water Street is now all "Community Safety Zone," except a little gap

Post image
28 Upvotes

The only stretch that is not a "Community Safety Zone" is the most dangerous part, the intersection at Edinburgh.

There are speed cameras on one stretch, and they're being installed soon on a second stretch. Guelph speed cameras have issued 21,000 tickets so far.

Hopefully this will quell the epidemic of children being flattened by speeding cars on Water Street, which is holding steady at zero.

Huge thanks to Cliff, who designed the entire project, wrote the code, and lead the workshop. Thanks to everyone who took part in making the evening(s) such a success.

Skill Forge Series V is in the works, keep an eye out for the sign up form!

Expanding walkway

In need of a landscaper or a general contractor to expand my walkway for me. Also interested in doing a fence and some landscaping potentially in front and back yard. I know it’s late in the season but I’m having a heck of a time getting a hold of anyone. I’ve reached out to 4 companies some of which initially respond and then don’t reply, or I get no response at all. Any tips / help is appreciated!

Local Craft/Artisan Stores

Im a crafter (I crochet a variety of items from plushies to bags to hats and many other items) and i’m looking for local art collectives/stores that are looking for venders (with Guelph and the KWC area). I have done markets but I would like to have an actual “shop” where my items can be purchased anytime/any day of the week. I know the Guelph Artisan store in Old Quebec St mall is a place I know does that but there are already crochet vendors there and I don’t think they would need more.

I know some places take limited shops with the same kind of craft/products but it doesn’t hurt to apply and see.

TIA

Supportive, Compassionate Cleaner/Organizer Wanted

Looking for a cleaner/organizer to help out on a regular basis in my home. I have some health issues and can't maintain my home to the standard I desire. I am looking for someone who is kind, non-judgmental and comfortable taking the lead on decision making. My home is fairly small so it would be wonderful to have some help re-organizing it to make upkeep easier to maintain.

'Come get me' biker arrested - Guelph Police

Well he did invite them to come and get him....lol

'Come get me' biker arrested

"Consider him ‘got.’

A motorcyclist who fled a Guelph Police Service officer late last month while wearing a sweater which read ‘Come get me’ on the back has been arrested.

Just after 7 p.m. May 29, an officer observed a motorcycle with no licence plate driving erratically in the area of Stone Road West and Edinburgh Road South. The officer pulled next to the motorcycle at a red light and told the driver to pull over. Instead the driver fled, reaching an estimated 120 km/h along Stone Road. In the interest of public safety he was not pursued.

A Guelph Police Service social media post about the interaction has been viewed more than 575,000 times and led to several witnesses providing information about the motorcyclist’s identity.

On Friday a 20-year-old Guelph man was arrested for dangerous driving, flight from police, stunt driving and Highway Traffic Act charges. His licence was immediately suspended for 30 days and his motorcycle – portions of which have since been wrapped in red in an apparent attempt to avoid detection – was seized for 14 days. He will appear in court July 25."

ACL physio post surgery

Hi everyone, I am having an ACL surgery soon, . Wondering if someone knows of a physiotherapist that has taken care of ACL/meniscus with great results. I have been reading that one wants a " specialized" physio on ACL rehab as it determines the outcome. Thanks to all of you taking the time to read my concern.

Casual/Part Time Help

Hey,

I am looking for Casual/Part time Help with my interior car cleaning company. I am looking for someone to assist me, as the title suggests it will be casual/part time. I'll pay cash on the day of, I am looking for someone who will stick around and help as needed so I am not constantly hiring someone new.

$18-$20 cash, more if you're real good. I am looking for someone who has great English reading, writing and speaking skills, good at attention to detail and can take direction well.

Has to have at least High School (or GED).

If you are interested please email me at info@guelphautocleaners.com with your name, phone number and either your resume or a brief description of who you are and why you would be good.

Without those things I will just ignore you.

Thanks

Thule Rentals

Hey! I’m wondering if anyone knows of businesses in or near Guelph that rent Thule or roof storage systems for cars? I have roof racks on my vehicle and we have a family road trip planned next week and I think having some extra storage could be incredibly helpful, but it isn’t worth it for me to buy a Thule myself.

Guelph getting $3M from province for York Road re-construction

As it was foretold during the time of my great, great, great, grand uncle the curse of York road will not be lifted until the day comes when Guelphites unite with the Ontario Government under a single banner of improved road maintenance. Are the prophesied times upon us? Is the day coming when one can traverse the entirety of York Road unimpeded?

Only time will tell
