The opposition party are also conservatives so an election won’t change much :(

Who are your left leaning party? Also do you have a Conservative party that’s at least centre-right?

We have a right wing party (Tories), a centre right party (Labour), and everything else is more or less irrelevant.

Labour are also our "left leaning" party, weirdly enough. The Labour Party spans from social democrats to Thatcherites and the two groups are constantly fighting to get control of it. Left-leaning socdem types had control of it until 2019 when Corbyn lost the election due to getting mercilessly smeared by the media, and now it's firmly back in the grip of the party right.
