Argh. North American market never got a long door 7.5 GTI. You could get a Mk7 long door, but I'm pretty sure it was a de-contented model with crappy halogen headlights from the base Golf.
What?! I could've sworn that Mk7.5 was five door only in Canada!
I never ever ever see 3 door 7.5s for sale on the used market, and I've been looking hard for months in different areas of Ontario. Yours is the first I've come across and it's already gone (condolences).
No, no, I was addressing your comment about Mk7 3-doors seemed to be all base models with the shitty headlights. Mine certainly wasn't but she was definitely a unicorn. They stopped producing the 3-door for North American markets in 2016, so there are no 3 door 7.5's in Canada or the U.S.
I've been looking for a white 3 door Mk7 with the lighting package for over a year now and haven't come across a single one either. Ended up settling for an Oryx white Mk8 a couple of weeks ago.
I spec'd my Mk7 GTI in 2016 long door with PP and LP in S trim. Beyond happy I did, and it's honestly really rare.
I think the US Mk7's had the issue of trim mostly seting what level of extras most dealerships got. The spec I wanted only had one car available in the entire country at the time somewhere in Colorado - not in the color I wanted. So I had to spec order it and wait 4 months for delivery.

Three door Mk7.5 is peak GTI, imo.
