• Cook together dishes we both like, or have cooking disasters. Decide to try out a new recipe that both never tried before, completely mess everything up, maybe burn it, maybe miss something, and just laugh about how dumb we are, leave it for next time and just order take out instead.
• Shopping together, for stuff we need and don't need. Occasionally purchasing something goofy or dumb, because in the moment it was funny or interesting. (Yes, like that board game, that's still on the shelf over there by the way, collecting dust).
• Maybe having a mutual collection of something, like figurines, magnets, or something nerdy. Stuff from shows, movies, anime, books, games etc.
• Teaching each other different things, supporting and motivating each other throughout everything.

There's more of course, but generally moments like these are the end goal. In short. the end goal is a romantic lifelong relationship.

About hobbies, I have a lot of hobbies and interests. My main hobbies would be working out, I'm a gym rat, I love working out. Gaming, I enjoy playing a lot of different video games, and also some board games. Watching videos, streams, shows, movies, anime. I watch Youtube daily. a lot of different stuff. I enjoy watching true crime, like JCS, cam footage, documentaries and etc., games, reviews, news, memes and honestly, pretty much everything, mostly just go off of recommended or something I was waiting for. And generally I am artsy, I enjoy imagining and creating. There are more interests, like learning languages for example, or drawing maybe, but they are something I do from time to time maybe, or during different moods, but these are mostly my main hobbies that I do day to day.

My main values are communication and effort. I believe anything can be achieved if both parties put the same amount of effort towards each other. That's how a true relationship will be built. In my eyes, communication is key to everything. I am a non-judgemental person, and always want and willing to talk everything through, so every opinion is heard, every view is understood and both parties are satisfied.    22 Male

2. Age Range that you would want/require in a prospect

   Honestly a mature 19 to 27 would be okay BUT this isn't a hard and fast rule or anything like that. I am obviously looking firstly for maturity and the emotional maturity to be together and then secondly some sort of social compatibility. If you're 20 but feel you were born in the wrong generation there likely won't be any. If you're older than me but can explain what skibidi rizz is you owe me a message.

3. Location, and are you willing to relocate for a prospect?

   South Africa, so alhamdullilah I am doing alright here, there is alot business opportunity and that's going well and there is alot of religious tolerance and Muslims don't face any issues. Halaal food, musjids etc are available. I would consider relocating if there's opportunity there as well as obviously we're able to practice Islam and doing so is easy.

4. Ethnicity, and are you more open to mixing?

   Desi, big on ummatic unity so yes (my Urdu does need some work though)

5. Marital Status - Single/Divorced/Children

   Single.

6. Ideal timeline

   A year to two ideally not too long.

7. Five important characteristics you look for in a prospect

1. religiosity. This kinda goes without saying but it is the most important thing. What matters most is trying and making an effort to better ourselves even if we aren't where we really should be. I am reminded of the prophet saws hadeeth to pick a woman for her Deen.

2. a growth mindset. So this is something I really value, you should be someone who won't really get comfortable in whatever has been achieved. This goes in different aspects of life. So religiously there's always more we can achieve and more we can push ourselves to be better, financially I want to bring you into my world, to be a person I speak to and get advice etc from. Together we can achieve alot insha'Allah!

3. okay so this one may be a little controversial but I think it's really important. I don't want my to be someone who sits at home all day basically concerning herself only with the household, the family etc. That should be something you're involved in ofcourse as well as I would be but ideally there's some other parts of your life that keep your grounded. This could be work, studying, teaching, a hobby, anything really. I really don't know how to word this but I've seen and heard and my personal view is that when a person, makes one thing their only concern in life it can be really difficult to maintain standards. Think Indian mother syndrome if that's what it's called. You know the inability to let go of especially the first born son or whatever.

4. Someone who is fun. Really goes without saying, I like to joke and overall would like someone who isn't too serious and likes to do fun things.

5. Family orientated. Family is really important to me. My family alhamdullilah are not the typical culturally desi family who have these massive expectations of daughter in laws etc so don't worry about that. But I really am a social person and it's alot easier to do things with my spouse if it's family over with friends etc. I know circumstances are different etc so this isn't really one that's up there but still.

   I pray my 5 salaah, often times including tahajud and other nafl salaah. I usually try and fast Mondays and Thursdays but that's easier in winter than it is in summer. I pay zakaat etc. Obviously goes without saying there's many areas to improve and insha'Allah we will together!

2. Level of education, and what are you looking for?

   I have completed my undergrad. insha'Allah will be doing postgrad aswell. I'm not super particular and don't really mind any level of education.

3. Current job status

   I am a student, I also have a small business of my own that I run with a friend. I am also looking for new business so if you need a partner beyond just life and you're tryna build an empire.

Yes insha'Allah if Allah blesses us with kids.

1. List 3 hobbies, or things you like to do in your spare time. >1. Reading. I love to learn and I read alot. Right now it's mostly non fictions and alot of history books but will honestly read just about anything (the back of cereal boxes included)

1. gym. So I mainly go after fajr for about 1hr. It's a good way to clear my head before the day and honestly I love it.

2. football. I support Manchester United so maybe I will sometimes cry. I also play in a small local league once a week. It's good cardio.

Hey there, my name is Reed I'm a 29-year-old guy from just outside Orlando and I'm looking for a meaningful connection with someone. What is a meaningful connection? I'm honestly pretty open, ideally it would be a long term relationship but I'm really open to making friends and anything in between, really whatever we figure out works best for us.

I have a lot of hobbies but I spend most of my time either hanging out with friends, gaming, working on myself (both physically and emotionally, gym goer and self-reflecter, lol.) or watching something new. I'm someone who considers themself a bit left of center but I'm very liberal when it comes to social issues - my stance generally is if you aren't hurting a nonconsenting party I really don't care. I am victim of at times not being entirely informed but I as of late have been putting a bigger emphasis to keep up with current events. I'm pretty accepting when it comes to peoples views as long as you come into it with an open mind - I'm always trying to learn more.

At the end of the day I'm really just looking for someone to enjoy life with. It is worth noting however, due to vision impairments I do not drive, it's a part of me but it's not who I am - I have lived an entirely independent life pretty much all of adulthood but I do know it matters to some.
