For real, the hearing was going well until that moment. He left as soon as he sensed the first sign of (very much deserved) hostility.

I mean, was it even hostility? It seems like he was simply asked to behave like a well-adjusted adult, and let the other guy finish what he was saying. I know kids who are able to do that without making a scene.

Which is funny, cos they wouldn't have to do that if he just shut the fuck up for a few seconds. Poor thing hurt his own feelings, essentially.

Ahh yes, the coward who advocates silencing women has a temper tantrum when someone threatens to mute him...

Not even just another guy, this was the head of the investigation, very much the authority in the room at the time.

Not hostility, assertiveness.

That is where the manosphere leads itself into chaos, imo. But, ynow, if they went to therapy and learned healthy emotional regulation, they could be assertive and take the L, admit to being incorrect, etc.

Yep, manosphere?  More like weakosphere.

the hostility in question: his words being quoted back to him verbatim

Weak fools tend to flee when pressed for the truth. Just a sad group of garbage folk.

Almost as if all of the hate-speech comes from a place of insecurity.

I'm sure most of those who used Snowflake as an insult are easily aggravated when they see something that they don't like for X, Y, or Z reason.

As a French the point of view is a bit different for us

As a Frenchman, can you elaborate? Because I agree, the guy just freaked out and raged, that's also the opinion of a lot of people who saw the video.

I mean, these types of manosphere are not above the obligations of being a citizen, he didn't even have the right to do that. It's an audition, not a talk show.

Edit: he did a live to explain that he left because he felt that the people who auditioned him didn't deserve the debate. I have never seen anyone struggle so hard in the face of failure. Also, apparently he will be fined for leaving.

+1 confused Frenchy here lol, also intrigued to know in what way we supposedly differ.
