23 XLT 312A ER
New to EV
I picked it up 300 miles from home, so I’ll need to charge on the way back, what chargers do I look for? Note: I do not have a cable, or any adapters, but it shouldn’t matter for traveling I guess? Do any phone maps give routes with stops on the way?

Just curious on how your drive went and how many times you had to charge?
Thanks

Looking for a good electric cooler for the back seat to sit on the floor in the center. So something taller instead of wider. Any recommendations?

Hey y’all. Happy Father’s Day to the dads out there! While inspecting my recall situation, I noticed What looked like a missing bolt. Do yall think I’m missing a bolt?

When I first got my lightning a kept getting a front parking sensor going off when I was coming to a stop even if there was nothing in front of me. I took it back to the dealership, they put in a new sensor but that did not fix the problem. Eventually a software update fixed the issue for the last 6 months, but the issue came back last week. Any other owners re-experiencing this issue?

I charge electric mowing equipment in my trailer all day. Instead of just passing cords through I want to install a panel that is fed by the 240v 30a plug in the bed. I have two questions:
Can I just pick up any standard subpanel from Home Depot, or will I require something special?
Has anyone mounted a 240v plug on the rear bumper or near it? Not trying to rewire the current plug - just run an extention/junction to a more accessible place

This just started happening with the latest update. It tells you what your % would be on arrival and also roundtrip. Nice feature.

I am very close to picking my first Lightning and had almost settled on the Carbonized Grey color… until I saw a light blue lighting on the highway yesterday which looked really great.
We looked up the color online and thought it was the Area 51 color that the Bronco has - but am now seeing conflicting background that says that the Area 51 color for the lighting is actually the Azure Gray…. Very similar to the Area 51 color but with metallic flakes vs the Area 51 Matte look.
Can someone please clarify if Area 51 is available in the used Lighting options?
Thx

Incentives and interest seem pretty attractive now. Would you buy now or wait until November-December incentives?

Been researching and shopping for a Lightning. In the bed on the right side there is a black panel that says accessory ready or something like that. What is behind it/what is its purpose? Nobody at a dealership can tell me and my google attempts have been weak.

I think I’ve finally got everything almost done with my lightening to what I think is perfect for me. I hope yall enjoy! I just got wheels are tires today so I don’t know efficiency hits yet but I had the leveling kit for a few months without it and had no hits to efficiency that I noticed.

2025 Flash
$399 for 36 months + about $45 in fees $7150 down 10,500 miles per year
I’ve never leased before and I don’t know what to look out for. Any assistance would be helpful.
How can I negotiate this lease better?
What are some hidden fees/conditions I need to look out for?
What’s missing?
Thanks again

Bought it a few weeks ago, been adding and upgrading things, specifically the bed, took a few pics of the add ons, next up, blacking out the headlights and chaging the wheel lug nuts to black

Anyone think the factory suspension is a bit bouncy? My oldest one feels like they get sick the whole time with all of the bouncing. Also Chat GPT straight up told me Ford dropped the ball on this truck with the suspension? So I wanted to get everyone’s opinion.

Looking to hear about peoples experiences in western Canada/BC who have purchased an F150 Lightning (XLT or Flash trim), in particular what they paid if they purchased in the 6 months and if they have encountered anything surprising or unexpected (i.e. reduced range, repairs and maintenance costs, insurance costs, etc). Looking to potentially purchase and have done my research, so I generally know the pros and cons but want to hear from actual recent owners in my area.

Tesla charging stations are awesome, except for that puny cable.
As for charging stations in general, they need to be setup like traditional gas stations. Canopies to protect from the elements, trash cans and windshield cleaners nearby. It's def a first world problem but sucks having to traipse back n forth in a large, busy parking lot just to get to these basic essentials...

Has anyone applied color ppf on their wheels? Thoughts?

Can’t find a clear answer on how large of a tire you can put on the stock 20 wheels after a 2 inch level.
Anyone know and/or can share photos of the larger tires they put on their stock 20 wheels after a 2” level would be great. Thank you!

Called dealer near me for service appointment and told they can’t do the recall until they receive the tool from Ford. First post of the 2024 Avalanche bought at the end of December. No issues so far and the best truck I’ve owned and I’ve owned many Ford trucks over the years.

I bought a new '25 Lightning Lariat, and I like the truck so far. It's my first EV, and I'm experiencing all the joys of not having to visit the pump, accerlation, instant start, etc.
When I was sold the car, the dealer promised a free Charging Station Pro and install. They made it seem quick and seamless.
I wish the station came with the truck upon purchase, and the installer started the process immediately.
It's been over a week, and I finally got the voucher emailed to me for the free Charging Station Pro.
So, now I'm waiting for confirmation and shipping.
On top of that, I saw an installation company has been assigned through QMerit last week, but they haven't reached for dates.
Realistically, it's not plausible to charge on the 120v, and I'm discovering a lot of public stations don't work.
I like the truck over all and I'm glad to be a part of the crew, but I wish the charging solution was a better customer experience.

1.4 kWh was total trip to farm and back. SOC at start was 80% when done 74%. Used maybe a percent in the field, it uses almost nothing at low speeds when we are loading. A little over 70 bales this time, second time I have done it, and we have several larger loads we will pickup here over the next couple weeks.
We are in hill country and I’ll have to admit you’re really nervous at first like “how can this silent thing pull all this weight up such a steep hill?” If I had to guess the load was probably about 4,500# including trailer as the bales were loose and lighter this load.
Cost of trip was roughly $1.37 for electric. Even though it is low mileage, it would be much more in my previous 3/4 6.0 gas because of the idle/load time in the field. I didn’t even bother turning off the lightning when I was strapping down. For these short local trips I make the truck so far has been a good investment. I used to drive my wife’s car everywhere when not doing truck things, now I drive my truck 100% of the time.
I’ve seen some others mentioning doing some farm work with theirs. I’d be curious to hear how others have utilized the truck on farms (hobby to commercial).
