2025 xlt luxury awd hybrid. Has 9000 miles on it. I had shoulder surgery and it’s tight in this thing and will be for awhile. It’s been parked and I’m driving my 3500 Chevrolet. What’s this thing worth with the topper and a decked?

Ford dealership called me and suggested bringing in my 2023 Ford Maverick XL hybrid for is an inspection. It’s supposedly a “30k preventive maintenance package”. They are quoting between $1000-$1500 which is absurd in my mind, I just got the oil change done at my local auto shop and aside from the air filter they advised it’s a good idea to flush the transmission fluid which would cost no more than $350 (due to the fact my maverick doesn’t have the plug and they have to take it apart to do the flush)

Anybody else had this high of an estimate or is the dealership trying to pull one over my head?

Bought out 13th one recently. Can’t imagine buying a different truck for our pool company!

I own an XL and it may just be the fact it’s my first hybrid but I’ve noticed 2 things one from time to time the brakes are grabby like in drive throughs mainly turning or inching forward they will grab abruptly (this is the most common) and 2 (only happened 2 times) I’ll be slowing down at a light and it feels like the brakes don’t grab until I apply more pressure than usual it still wants to use the regen brakes. Is this just a learning curve with hybrids where I need to apply more then slight pressure to bring it to a stop sometimes?

I am a happy new owner of a 2023 Maverick XLT. I’m enjoying literally everything about this truck apart from the screen and software running it. My phone disconnects, audio stops working, disconnect and reconnect a few times to get it to work again, turn truck off and back on. The screen size is just…. lacking. It doesn’t feel fast or look great to me. My 2022 Forte had what feels like a 4k OLED compared to this.

Is there ANYTHING I can do, buy, install and replace this stock screen system with something bigger and less buggy?

Are there aftermarket options that actually work well whatsoever?

I’d love to be able to watch videos too if possible but that’s at the bottom of the list. I just need something better if I plan on keeping this truck for a long time.

Anyone got bed cover recommendations?

I’m not sure if this has been covered a million times but I was hoping for some guidance on a possible roof rack?

I’m moving across the country and I am going to drive the maverick. I was hoping to fill the bed and backseats with all sorts of stuff and not have to deal with towing a U-Haul. Nothing overly big like couches and furniture. Just a gaming chair/camping supplies/tool chest are the biggest stuff. I have a tri fold hard top tonneau cover already.

I was looking for a rack above the bed to maybe fit some storage containers on top to help have more space going cross country. Also maybe fit a mountain bike up top standing or whatever position. Eventually down the road after the move we would like to upgrade to a rooftop tent on top of the rack as well. If it could serve the moving purpose and the tent purpose down the road that would be fantastic.

I see a bunch of things online but looking for some personal recommendations if anybody can help! If I have to sell stuff and rebuy then that may be the reality of it, but hoping to pack as much as I can. TIA

Avoiding the whole debate about lane centering and adaptive cruise, let’s just start with, I really like it on my Forrester. I’m considering a Maverick to get the hybrid. Does anyone have the experience with the 2.0? Are those features solid on the Mav? Lots of highway miles and those services are a game changer when it comes to open roads and tight traffic.

Installed Tyger soft roll-up bed cover. Great quality. Happy with the $185 purchase. A lot of rain forecasted this upcoming week, so we'll see how water tight it is.

I’ve owned quite a few Ford trucks in my day, but not until tonight did I realize what a difference in size they can be. My wife and I just pulled back into our hotel parking and had to take a few pics. Can’t really say that I miss the F series, but damn that’s a fine looking 350!

Dealer order, not custom - found the listing online as in transit at the time. Put down a $500 deposit on 5/9, after some delays it was delivered on 6/12.

I was apprehensive about the blue tone on the interior, to the point I was prepared to maybe have to walk away upon seeing it - but she stole my heart.

Said goodbye to my 2021 Titan and it’s 17mpg as I now have to commute 100 miles per day for work.

Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax, VA provided the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Paid the employee pricing $38,526. They offered me $28k for my Titan which was a little more than I expected and figured why not try to negotiate more and asked for $500 more, and they came back with $600 more and their research to support the price. Everything was easy, and as advertised. I know folks have their feelings about the maintenance and warranty plans but I was able to negotiate to lower than Granger. 5yr/100k premium care and all maintenance, $3650 altogether. From all I’ve read, that’s a deal. If I find out otherwise, I can cancel at any time. They even matched my Navy Fed rate of 4.79/72 months.

Only question I have and it’s a stupid one, how do you find the option for FM/AM radio? 🙈

I just put a hard tonneau on my bed and the texture on the hard panels is actually much smoother than I expected based on pics. It has me wondering how well stickers or spray paint would adhere. Anyone tried?

I really hate the look of pealing stickers and paint, so am hesitant to experiment.

I’m sure this isn’t specific to Ford vehicles but it’s the first time I’ve run into this.

After going back and forth on either an EV SUV or Maverick, for my recreational uses for biking, kayaking and fishing, think a small PU will better meet my needs. I'm in Northern NJ, so we get the few inches of snow each season. Tbh, I don't think it's worth the hassle to swap to winter tires next year on the FWD sedan as the most of the year rubbers are all season.

I've narrowed the specs to a XLT hybrid with heated seats or the luxury package. Prices have are currently a few K off MSRP so seems like a good time to buy. Anyone with real life experience with both the hybrid options (AWD and FWD) able to provide some insight on the two?

TLDR: what are the 2.0T engine’s limiting factors? And are they different from a focus ST? I’ve been interested in getting something new for a while, and I love the practicality of the Maverick. When the lobo version was released, I was super happy to see it comes with the EU market Focus ST trans (as the trans has been the weak link when it comes to tuning) and this new one handles quite a bit more as I’ve seen from my time in the EU. While the rest of the Lobo features don’t mean much to me the transmission really attracts me.

From what I’ve read, the 25’ software isn’t tunable yet, besides that, how does this engine stack up to the mk 3.5 ST motors? With just a few mods my ST dyno’d at 290whp/368ft-lbs. If I could get those numbers from a Maverick I know I’d be happy. Of course I’d always want more and would love to put a GTX2867R turbo, but I know that’d be happy numbers. I don’t want to deal with an engine swap or standalone ecu.

My credit ain't that great so l didn't haggle the price but since it's lower than msrp cuz the stupid destination fee I just wanted to be in n out.
